135 MB Movie... Please save first to your computer Yea.. there is a Haflinger in there as well. The soundtrack of this movie is a definite indication that Unimog owners must be all on acid.

Don't go too fast and end up in a ditch. Also put some good tunes on. I've discovered Clutch is awsome to wheel to. sly

Just take the crappy safari bar off, get some real tires and have fun off roading. People do amazing things in the R50s.
-
I run my ATs at 34-38 PSI. Awsome for fuel economy. -Thank you- Luke

Also I should add that my buddy picked up a set of 31x9.5 Swamper TSLs... and they were very inexpensive (cheaper than BFG MTs, MT/Rs... etc...). Maybe take a look at TSL radials or bias ply?
-
I second the Timberline MTs. They were super cheap, and they are very very agressive. The side lugs get me out of deep ruts, and they steer better in muck than any other tire i've seen. We wheel in a group of trucks where every one has a different tire and the Timbos compare superbly to all tires i've seen. I can just point my wheels somewhere and the truck just goes there even in some very off camber slick deep crap. I've also done some awsome rock crawling with them and they just grab and grab. Also they have nothing to do with the Bridgestone Dueler MTs. But they are a carbon copy of the Firestone Destination MT, however they're a bit more agressive due to the center lug direction. Oh... and to people thay say "i haven't gotten stuck yet"... you guys just don't wheel hard enough. On our runs... everybody gets stuck.

Keep the obvious parts for spares. eBay-off the rest. Glad that you didn't buy a Corolla or some other crapbox instead. PS. I secretly want a Corolla as a daily driver

how do you take apart the inner cv joint ?

This PDF file might help.... -
I did about 100 miles in heavy to moderate traffic... good few hours of operation with about 10 startups. The voltage dropped to about 11 V.
-
When I was in the process of upgrading my alternator to the 110amp one... i drove for entire two days only on my YellowTop. Nuff said.
-
How did you check for spark. All 6 or just 1 random plug.
-
Couldn't you just pull a fuse or install a simple switch? Yea... for conventional batteries, Interstate is super awsome.
-
Damn.... my truck gets between 220 to 350 miles per gas tank... (about 2 gallons left in it) depending on how and where i drive and what temp is outside. Daddy needs a diesel conversion.
-
LOL you guys can take him to the Coke Plant and wheel a bit. After the coffee obviously.
-
I think it would be best if you worried about headers after the 4WD conversion.
-
when i lift my pathy, what about the radiator?
Filthy Luker replied to nakta's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
I've been running with out a shroud for a while and it's no problem and we've had a fair bit of hot temps lately.. You might have issues if you have your fan clutch is gone though. -
You guys shouldn't complain about gas prices. Check this out!

I upgraded my wiring a while back using relays as described. I have a relay for hi and a relay for low beams. The difference in lighting output is noticable for sure.
-
http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/projects/pathfinder.php They did a whole upgrade/buildup on a WD21. Worth a read.

I'm pretty sure the song is named after the town.... Really? Darn... I've been fooled! I'm ripping off my Tragically Hip posters off right now and burning their t-shirts and CDs. :furious: EDIT: Wait... so Canada is also NOT named after the bacon?

Used Dell ultrathin laptop that runs my Garmin GPS stuff. The GPS signal receiver is on the roofrack. I made the shelf for the laptop out of 1/4" lexan. It's attached to the center console with 4 allen bolts and rivnuts. Comes off in 30 seconds if i want it, but I found it makes for a fantastic lunch tray when the laptop is off so i just keep it there at all times.

This is the Autotragic Tranny cooler I have: http://www.bmracing.com/index.php?id=produ...ubcat=28&pid=73 (part number 70264). You should have no problems finding it for well well under $100. As for mods, you can get through a lot with 32" MTs and cranked t-bars and Ford Coils in the rear. You'll need longer travel shocks but they're fairly inexpensive. You can also just do body lift as others suggested. To each his own. Then upgrade a steering system, the stock one is absolute rubbish. The steering system warnings will get repeated over and over by everyone and you'll probably ignore them until your stock centerlink blows up and your truck will be sitting in front your garage like a sorry pup for 3 weeks or more. I speak from experience as two of my friends did the whole "i'll replace it when it goes" thing. Also rock sliders and skid protection. Then get yourself hi-lift, chains, and recovery straps.

Removing front and rear sway bars. It costs ABSOLUTELY nothing and drastically improves off road performance. As for engine performance? Proper tuneup will do wonders.
