  1. yep thats my favorite video to post when folks bring up blinged pathy's...
  2. get a photobucket account...its free so you can link as many pix as you want and they make it easy so you can copy the image tag right on over and paste the whole deal over... That doesnt look stock but I can see a couple ways to make it work...check the upper mounts but for the lower mounts you could use a spacer block or take the whole thing apart (going to be a PITA) but you could shorten the middle tubes up (could probably be done very carefully with a hacksaw if no better tools are available) then weld grind the "caps" where everything threads in back and weld them back on
  3. Shes still mad at me...and for some reason every place in town is out of gascans and all I have for our mower is a 1 gallon can...I want to pull out all the old gas and put in fresh and see what happens b.c she is very very unahppy and the wind has been blowing nonstop for the past 3 weeks except when I had other chores around the house like digging up all the old crappy gray rail rock and replacing it with nice red lava rock... I'm almost at the point of parting her out and just getting my 95 from NC here but that is my very very very last option...I just feel bad that she's sitting getting sand blasted and blistered by the sun...
  4. ehh I dont think its all that bad...kill the running boards...crank the t bars back up and fix the rear springs and get rid of the wheels and get some new offroad ones and there ya go...seen much much worse
  5. I don't have the shock setup but I have the "dual stage" T-bars and his rear coils
  6. I recommend not trying to remove the headlight hoops...you will find that htey are rusted up pretty bad and will probably strip or break a screw...mine was nasty as well even though you cant see that in the pic... One thing I did notice is you have to change how you open the hood..mine I have ot reach over the top and use the back side of my hand to lift up the release lever
  7. I'd call up AC and ask them what the difference in the kits is they should be able to tell you fairly quickly and painlessly...if anything I think it will have different styles of lift blocks...
  8. I put one off of a 95 on my 87 but I think you have to remove the bumper to get it on there then install the bumper...and I had to cut it off of the 95 to get it off and had a hard time getting the main supports through the bumper but they went through with some persuasion Mine is also bent a little bit..but it's mainly the corner jobie on the drivers side where they or the JY bumped it into something here is it installed on my 87 Brush Guard off truck: hope that helps...I believe it should fit unless there is a difference in the chrome and black bumper which I doubt...
  9. 31 Ats on the 95 and 31 mudrovers on the 87
  10. I think that statement is terms for being banned :tonguefinger:
  11. saw the commercial last night and yep its a 2dr WD white with grey stripes...my buddy that was over who has a fronty was like dude theres a sunk nissan as it flashed up on the screen...that looks like a cold job rather than dirty.... which one of you guys drove on the ice too late in the season up there in canada?
  12. I hated all the kids I went to HS with who had big trucks...I drove my 87 pathy and knew all about it and they knew nothing of their @!*%...it makes no sense to try to outdo someone b/c someone is always going to have something you don't have and it's pretty stupid IMHO... The pathy is capable so build it up some then take it on the trail and outpreform his "built" rig...thats a bigger ball buster...but if you want to play my dick is bigger than go ahead but it gets you nowhere...
  13. i'll try to remember to check it out
  14. I've been out of charlotte for a year come June 18th with the exception of some visits...I miss it completely..especially this week with speed street and all of that jazz downtown and the races being in town...I hope to get back to the area in the next 3 or so years...Good ole NC boy out here in the "Great" state of CA...it's been a good experience so far though... My old rancho's had an orientation stamped somewhere on the body right where they welded the caps on but I got those probably 5 years ago if not longer... Thanks for that link to google patents...I never knew it existed and it looks really useful..I spent an hr this mornign grabbing things off the desk and searching the patents...I'm going to pull up our companies most recent patent sometime later if I get the time
  15. Cool deal...I need to get some of my idea's on paper and to a lawyer to find out if they're any out there for my stuff and if not get the ball rolling...I know its pretty expensive though
  16. when I worked at the JY it was pretty loud from what I recall well loud enough to call attention to yourself if someone had their windows open and no TV or anything on...
  17. if thats the case I have a head off of my 87 thats good to go with dizzy...let me know what it's worth to ya and where you are located and we can work something out...
  18. bet its a 3 letter word followed by a 4 letter word... GAS WIFE (if one of those is in the picture) i know my gf gives me @!*% all the time and thats y my 95 is still sitting 2500 miles away
  19. Haha I thought I was the only person who did that...my neighbor is going to find his dodge Ram like that one morning...theres about 4 families with kids that play in the street all the time and our dog is usually in the yard when we are and he tears down our street going about 50 or so and blows through stop signs without even slowing down...he's going to kill someone and my coworker was over here and his kids were close to the road and as he rode by he revved the engine up...so he's going to wake up one AM with 4 flatties... it does make a good hissing noise and can whisle so be careful in not getting caught
  20. yes towards spark connection one...but its not exactly where the plug wire plugs in...if you look at the molding of the cap you can follow which plug wire goes to which tab on the underside of the cap...just try visually tracing those out and I think you will find that it's about 9-11 position...hope that helps...there should also be a little notch on the dizzy side at about the right position IIRC
  21. Welcome... When you pulled the cap could you see any obstructions down inside? when you change your oil are there a lot of filings? I'm not familiar with any problems like that but it seems like it could be a bad gear or something to that effect...I'm sure someone else will come along with a better response...
  22. dizzy cap or plugs...most likely the cap
  23. Yep you're right missed that one completely both times I read it...thats to do the outer seal...the inner seal you need a special tool to remove the bearing locknut and bend back the 4 tabs http://www.megafileupload.com/en/file/6365...r-Axle-pdf.html you have to wait 30 secs to download after opening the link but it should work fine...the website I usually use for free uploads that doesnt ahve all that BS is down right now...but yea that will tell you everything
