When I removed my rear belts (lap only) and replaced them with the units from a newer truck (lap & shoulder) I took those from the donor as well. As mentioned they are for retaining the shoulder straps when the rear seats are folded down. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For anyone who has considered installing the newer belts in a 2dr (or any that have lap belts only). The trucks are already set up for them... on the backside of the trim you will find the outlines showing where the holes need to be to allow the belts to pass through. The "notch" (for lack of a better word) for mounting the belt retainers (the "levers" mention in this thread) and the threaded bolt holes above the side windows for the upper shoulder mount are both there

Another possibility... could the rear hatch have been replaced at some point? ***Did those hinges work out for you?***

I agree 88, they are too close. I have partially solved the problem by added the high mount speakers with the mounting bracket and trim from a 94.

Did you cut the presure line down to only what you need or is that 5ft the total length that was supplied in the package? Where possible, cut off any extra line you have and reconnect it to the gauge/block. (allow for engine/body movement) Yesterday I bought a new set of fittings for my other trucks gauge, and it came with 6ft of plastic tubing.. Like 88 said, false readings can come from a hose that is too long. Also, check again for kinks.. not just ones that are there now, but also for any that have been "worked out".. because the hose could still be compressed a little where the kink was.

iirc the Lego's are 7 inches wide(someone will correct me if I am wrong), in that case the widest tire that should be mounted on them would be an 11.5 If your going to use a 12.5in wide tire get some wheels that are "at least" 8in wide. 10's are perfect.

Yeah a 10in wide wheel is the idea size for a 12.5in wide tire. I have some 8.5s for my Paths 31x10.5s. These wheels currently have 33x12.5s mounted on them and will be replaced by a 10in wide rim. Once done both sets of tires and wheels will be matched almost perfectly.

Like you, I also have a hefty Class III Receiver hanging off the back of my Path. This is something that I too have thought about when the time comes for a BL.. Right now, I am leaning the same way you have, (not moving my bumper up)

Maybe I missed it, but I don't see your name or any credit to you, attached to the images. Did they just not bother to do it? I did not see the images being used any place on the actual site, if they are then perhaps the credit is in text next to the image. Only place I found them was in the Media directory, where they are simply called "pathfinder3.jpg" and "pathfinderjump.jpg"

hmm, have you considered custom fabricating a removable extension. To satisfy the coppers on road but protect the exhaust system off? But then, if you have had no trouble catching it on the ground, rocks, trees, etc. with it the way it is, then there is no real need for anything else.

We are allowed 2in here (last I checked anyway), but really it depends on the officer. Some simply don’t care and some seem to hate 4x4’s.

I got the deal on the ES3000's too. But I got them from 4wheelparts.com. I failed to notice that I was also shipped the wrong SS until a couple months later, when I decided to install it. I ended up giving to a girl I know, since she has a Jeep and the one they sent fit it.

88, That’s great if it makes an improvement for you… but I would recommend one thing. Get something better than the drug store polish remover… I don’t care what the bottle say’s, nail polish remover is probably not the best choice of acetone for this. I spent about 5yrs dealing directly with Acetone on a daily basis, but we used industrial grade 100% pure acetone. And I can tell you that nail polish remover is not as good/high of grade. Also the article is right about the can simply labeled “Acetone” that you find in the hardware store.. Again it’s not the same quality. If you notice an improvement (hell, maybe even if you don’t) go to a chemical supply store.. Like maybe a paint store and get some industrial grade 100% pure… And see how that does.

Steve, you might try what I did to my other truck before lifting it. Break out the jack and jack stands or blocks. Jack up the truck and use blocks/jack stands or 2-4 jacks and lift that beast up by the frame. You can easily change the amount of "lift" you apply to it with the jack(s) This will allow you to see exactly what your truck will look like lifted And since adding or removing lift when doing this is so easy, you will be better able to determine exactly how much lift you want.
