So you want to lift your 96-up Pathy?
exit34rocker1017 replied to BigBikeMike's topic in R50 FAQ's & Pinned Topics
you get the 2" lift springs from 4x4parts.com. as far as everything else, you can get them wherever you want. i would suggest bilstein shocks for the rear. also get KYB struts. i have never heard a bad thing about them. tons of people hate the ranchos and have gotten KYB's instead. you can find the shocks and struts on 4x4parts.com, however it is a little pricey. your also going to want to get camber alignment bolts. these can be purchased from 4x4parts, or at summitracing.com for half the price. you want 14mm camber bolts. your then going to want to get NEW OEM ( from your nissan dealership ) upper strut mounts and strut bearings. you can also get these from factorynissanparts.com. i feel like im forgetting something, but i dont think i am. you can get the warn hubs anywhere, amazon, ebay...the part number you need is 29091 for the locking hubs. all the part numbers should be in this topic if you need them, if not, search for them...they definitely are on the forum somewhere! -
thats the best part about those tires

thats the only thing i am afraid of is cost. hopefully i can score a set of fenders w/o holes from a junkyard that are already black -

Filling In Holes In Fenders
exit34rocker1017 replied to exit34rocker1017's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
maybe i worded it wrong, but i dont need to fill in the back, just the front fenders. so will 96-99 fenders without holes fit on my 1999.5? -
i took off my fender flares, and now i want to fill in the holes with body filler and paint my fenders. i have new cheap rubber flares that i wanna throw on there, but they arent big enough to cover the holes so i have to fill them. can anyone let me know how to fill them? what do i need to make it look good? or, do the 96-99 front fenders fit 99.5-04? i noticed most of the older ones dont have flares or holes! that would be a quick swap if it was possible. i am inexperienced and would love advice! thanks!

i ordered new ones, just because my old ones were cracked and dry rotted and new ones were only 30 bucks. remember to get OEM strut bearings and upper strut mounts also! a good place to get them is www.factorynissanparts.com . i ordered my bearings, mounts, and boots from there. -
mickey thompson baja CLAWS! mickey thompson baja MTZs! the nitto mud grappler is also an aggressive tire. youll want 6x5.5 bolt pattern, and if your getting wheels, then i would say get 16x8's(if you have 99.5-04) or 15x8's(only if you have a 96-99)with 4" backspacing and you will look great. it will give your truck a nice aggressive stance if thats what you like.

i'd go with either the bfg km2's, toyo m/t, or the mickey thompson mtz's! the mtzs would look GREAT as well as the others if you get 31's.
