I am planning for BFG A/T , SINCE bfg M/T are not available in this region no one imports them incluidng the dealers I'de be carefull for the time being while wheeling , till i consume the current dunlops and will make a change of wheels and tires when it is possible Really , good to know that , next thing maybe we're related hehehehe Zahle ya dar el salam
  3. I am running OME lift kit , it provides much more than 0.5 inch my truck stand higher by 2” I am still not sure if it will settle further more I am having the lift kit for about 5000 km for now . With 31.5 “tires fitted in after the lift I have a total of 10 cm difference Check this thread it shows you how it will stand next to a stands next to a stock one http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=22826 Difference is not too big but considerable , the only advantage I got is to fit 31” tires without having to rub or destroy further the bumpers when flexing in off-road

  10. I have the OME 2”suspension lift , I wont be able to tell much as I have only done 1500 km with the lift on .
  11. Congrats , a very nice looking car , I am sure you will miss the mighty LC when I bought mine the sales man at the show room was asking if I was sure I want to go for a brand new older model while the newer model is hitting the market in a couple of month . I believe for a family choice the R51 is a nice SUV but for someone who goes for off-road the R50 is a better choice . 4 years down the line I am still enjoying the simplicity of the R50 and her durability .
  12. Yes it is including the new tires , old tires were 29" , new tires are 31.5 " , still need to wait till the lift settles I beleive you're right , need ot reduce the CC amount before changing the wheels . Yep it is the flex that ripped my bumper before i lifted it Offset vs wheel spacer ? which one to plan for ? Also planning for a change from the Dunlopp tires ( poor performance ) to the BF All terrain tires
  13. X 2 the nomination should only be a pathfinder on a Pathfinder forum
  14. There is an old say ( Nothing scratches you skin like your own nails ) , i feel like shoving the old alternator ..... Ridiculously this is the monopoly the agents play here in such countries , with no privilege of competition or after market suppliers easy deliveries for online shopping all has to fly the continent to reach here . Noting that the duty is only 5% here they have no reason to thief this way but again monopoly rules
  15. I was in Lebanon and my mechanic already had taken it out of dealer ship so I had to pay , otherwise i could have gotten it from Lebanon for some 200 $ I can say that I was raped
  16. Thanks Simon for the info , i am not noticing anything indicating a ball jpint failure nor a camber loose so i can rest assured till next service i'll have her checked Thanks Fleurys I look forward to test her off- road but with temperatures reaching 49 celsius in City I guess we will burn in desert
  17. For the first time in 4 years Paty let me down . Last week end on my way to airport , to catch up the early flight Paty suddenly stopped accelerating and the speed went down to 20 km at full throttle and the dash board light became like the Christmas tree I managed to cross the remaining distance to airport crossing signal lights and 4 lane roads at the speed of 20 km It was the alternator who had clocked 85000 km that died in a heart attack . Being away I asked the company mechanic to fix it before I get back and he calls me to inform me he got the alternator from the dealer at 1095 $ asked him to return it back the dealer refused to take back an electrical part after long negotiations he let it for 958 $ Ouch that was hurting my pocket but after fixing it I could feel the difference as Paty responds faster to my foot on the accelerator .
  18. Banned ? when ? and why ? i recall he used to pick on everything but what's the reason of his bann ? Not trying to
  19. Thanks Tek and Silverpathy . The rubbig is not with the strut it is rubbing with the front mud guard , theone that is pinned ot the bumper it is plastic rubing with rubber no problemo and offset wheels or spacers are good and will look good but i will live with that now , maybe will have them on Santa's wish list hehe

  23. There she is lifted , at the beginning I didn’t feel the difference in height , until I took few pictures next to my colleagues Pathy running on 255/ 70 R 16 Over all the difference is about 10 cm from the silver one without the side steps it is even greater clearance than the stock pathy . I have been away and didn’t get a chance to try her off-road , but I can report that on road the ride got stiffer naturally and the balance on Pathy is great , no vibration , a cool ride . I am not sure if the tiny gap between the tire and the strut is normal but so far it has not touched or rubbed Though the tire still rubs the front mud guard on the front bumper when reversing at full steering but who cares Paty Just Got taller
