  1. well the reason its doing it is because waters getting on the starter, since i don't have inner fender liners, and freezing the starter up.
  2. ok heres an idea, it started up just fine now, so is there anyway that i could maybe make a starter heater, or will a block heater effectively do the same thing. please help me out. Thanks
  3. did this again this morning, hmmm still
  4. neither, if you're getting shocks then drop the bucks on them. i'd say bilsteins
  5. ok when i move the wheel the end of the center link will move up slightly
  6. ok i can move it side to side as some of you had stated. the tie rods look ok. im at a loss here.
  7. so this was my bad about the starter, my starter was frozen, and wouldn't turn the truck over
  8. ok corroded cable not the problem, still just getting a click.
  9. i got a new negative battery cable, and i think its the proble, since the old one was corroded down the actual cable itself.
  10. ok where does the negative battery cable ground out at, it corroded like a mofo, and i think it may be the probem.
  11. ok i'll do that when it hits positive temperatures again. lol -19 right now
  12. ok in the arm rests there is a little cover hole, remove that and the phiolips head screw as well, arm rest will slide off, the trim around the door handle will pop off from the bottom side of the handle, the next step is there will be three screws under neath where the arm rest was, remove those, and then sldie a screwdriver around to the retaining clips, and pop them out. and now the door panel will lift off.
  13. i checked the volts also at the battery cable and it was only like 2.74 at the battery cable right behind the terminals.
  14. Ok went to start my pathfinder yesterday to go to work, nothing, so i checked the volts on the batt. and i have 12.72 volts, im thinking its the starter because when i try to turn it over all i get is one click. I replaced the starter last febuary with a rebuilt one from autozone. do you think it's the starter too or anything else?
  15. i checked the idler arm and pitman, and they are both fine, i'll check the center link when i get some more free time. the center link didn't look tweaked at all when i did a check when i got it home yesterday. i'll check the tie rods for play as well. Thanks Guys!!
  16. i've got it narrowed down to the alignment, but here's the weird thing i know i shouldn't have hit 70, but when i did, it drove perfect. i have no idea how to explain, but i looked into it more tonight, and im thinking that i jacked the alignment up, and or bent one or a few of the control arms. John
  17. i have the skid plate off, and while i drive down the road, i can still get to 70, but it feels like the steering box is shot, and it wanders so bad now too. Any advice is appreciated, i don't have alot of knowledge when it comes to being mechanical.
  18. ok so today while i was hauling ass down a dirt road, and i creamed a rock, well when i got her going again and i turned tail and ran back home. i was driving the steering is pulling either way, so im pretty sure i screwed the steering up, i m ay have tweaked to tie rod, and i know i jacked the alignment up. so how hard is it to replace the steering box, and the tie rod? or maybe the idler arm brace?
  19. well the sas isn't going to be until late spring early summer, and i was just wondering if there was any value in doing it, thanks anyways
  20. Has anybody made sway bar disconnects for the front of the pathfinder?
  21. ok so the tm lift is all drop down brackets, and spacer in the rear right? so then the 3" a-arms for the front, and coils out back would justify it then. now onto 7" longer shocks, any ideas?
  22. would it be possible to buy the trailmaster 4" lift and the calmini 3" lift and get 7" out of it?
  23. Im running the 31x10.50x15 mtr traed on the bfg side wall from www.treadwright.com they are sitting on a set of 15x10 outlaw II's i got for free.
  24. I want to get some lift from my pathfinder, and i have heard you can use the grand cherokee v-8 springs in the rear of the pathfinder to get 3" of lift is this so true. please explain, oh and will xj springs do the same? Thanks John
  25. my next set of hubs will be a set of either superwinch or warn locking hubs, im done with the autos, been through two sets in two years.
