  1. I have Mickey Thompson 31's (In Real life, they're 29.5") and I'm going to try my buddy's 35" KM's. I'm sure there will be cutting. The front isn't so bad because I'm putting a winch bumper on. But the rear, as you can see, the front of the tire is pretty close. I'd like to know what tmorgan did to fit his 35's so nicely
  2. I'll pass on the info to a couple guys in my area that may be interested! Email me a price and I'll pass it on!
  3. I left it stock. I wouldn't know where to start lengthening that stuff... All the lines run along the bars. We'll see what happens with the bigger tires. Shocks are on their way from my US warehouse, I'll let you guys know about the rest of the SFD stuff on the SFD thread
  4. Stock vs Custom... I'll post installed pics tomorrow night.
  5. NEW SPRINGS ARE HERE!!! Bravo America for having such a fast shipping industry! I'll have them in and pics taken by tomorrow $338 with shipping to Canada/brokerage and duty
  6. NEW SPRINGS ARE ON THEIR WAY!!!! I'M VERY EXCITE!!!!!
  7. I'll take a pic tonight. When its on the rack, with the shaft extended it can't line up to the rubber steering link. one side of the extension (where it bolts in) but the other side is off by 1/4". It would need a wedge or something to take up the space. But it would seriously bind when turning if you do that. But rotating it wasn't a total waste. Now the angles are straighter
  8. So rotating the rack and extending the shaft didn't work. It was ff by 1/4". But with the rack rotated, theres pretty well no angle so the two Ujoints will have no problem with binding.
  9. Awesome! Thats what I'll look forward to doing... Now I just need someone named Steve to "lend" me his Locker ;-)
  10. I've tried running my VIN on the decoder sites and using the self decoder... Nothing comes up for the gearing of that model. Its just where it was build and what engine it has, stuff like that. I don't have and HG numbers or anything in my Numbers either. IF I were to have (or got them if I don't) the 4.636:1 gears and got the reduction gears for my TC. You guys think I would be ok with the 35's? That is if they fit... hahaha
  11. awesome! Thanks for all the info guys.. I'm starting to learn some stuff about the gearing side of things :-D I'll check the VIN right now.
  12. Nothing to report right now. I'll finish the steering up tomorrow night and let you know how it goes. I fit it up with no problems, just need to bolt everything together now and see how it works
  13. so if I went with the new reduction gears is there a Pinion and Ring gear I should swap into the rear end? or are those not a option for the R50?
  14. Steve! Where do you find all this good stuff!? So should I be looking into getting the 4.6?
  15. Does anyone know how to figure out what gearing your truck has? Is there a code in the VIN or is it stamped on the rear diff. cover or something? I know pretty much nothing about gear ratios and whatnot. So any help would be great.
  16. It doesn't look like it. The wrack only has that "egg" shape on the top. I'm only turning it about 20 degrees to line up with the part of the steering shaft that has to be lengthened. so the Side of the steering rack thats touching the subframe is the same shape it was before. The only problem I can see running into, is the bolt going back in for the top of the bracket. The one hard-line going into the rack is probably going to be in the way. I'll post pics when I get the new bracket back... Tomorrow!
  17. 94path, are we talking about an R50 still?
  18. Ok I just called them, they said mine are out being coiled! Not sure if thats a ggod thing or not. They also said original shipping date was March 15th :-O ... hopefully that date is pushed up
  19. So what did your wait time end up being in the end?
  20. Good to hear man! I'm hoping they haven't stopped my order because of this mess :-D
