  1. I think it would sound good if the rest of the exhaust was on there. Gets rid of that snappy, rice rocket sound
  2. Sixguns, is there anything after that muffler or is it just dumping from there?
  3. Does it matter if its 1 in and 2 out? can you flip them around? I can find TONS with the 1 in 2 out.. non the other way around
  4. it probably won't make a difference power wise having two eh? Just one more thing to get crushed on a steep incline haha
  5. Is the flowmaster you want to get a 2-1 as well? or can you get a 2-2 Flowmaster, does it really matter?
  6. Yeah.. I had to change it to the "Rod-mobile" cause it was the "Janine-Mobile"... I'll take the Rod-mobile jokes. I like the attention! Otherwise I'm just on here reading all the old posts :-) And yes I am on here ALL the time!.. "New" newyears resolution, Make pathfinder better than Pezzy's :-)
  7. hahaha, will do... Dudu! I'm going to a place tonight to see if they could just work off my truck, as far as measurements go.
  8. once again I'm confused as s@%t hahaha, in my mind it sounds like a good idear. Daily driven=unlock hubs... Trails and mud=Lock the hubs... no problem? The only thing I can think of is when I AM doing trails with the hubs locked, hard corners will be rough on my CVs
  9. 88pathoffroad, do you think everything would work well with the front diff. welded up (with the manual hubs)?
  10. I do, just waiting for the rest of my lift to show up so I can do it all in one beer fueled weekend :-)
  11. awesome, could I take the difff to any weld shop and get them to do it or what?
  12. If you're hubs are unlocked nothing is spinning is it? Then when you get out and lock them you have a full lock diff. when its welded, correct? Its sounds god to me :-)
  13. What do you weld when you weld the front (or any) differential? And if you do the rear with the extra plates... do a "bolt by bolt" instruction on that bad boy :-) I will give you all the beer in the world if you do. I looked at the other "how to" page, and couldn't figure out what the hell the guy was doing at all
  14. Yeah sure. It's just easier to send the specs to a sheet metal shop and get them to cut and bend where I need them to. But maybe if I take a pic to them they can work off of that and my truck to fab them up
  15. Does anyone have measurements for whatever skid plates I need for my truck. I really just need the most important ones (ie, front, transfer case, oil pan, etc.)
  16. Yeah let us know alexrex! I'm interested too :-)
  17. thats what I plan on doing.. Monday. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy haha
  18. The shocks and struts look good (as in, they look nice and they look like the right ones) the hubs look good ( as in the look nice....) I knew they wouldn't be the right ones, but the dude on the "other end" said he'd make them the right ones. So I trusted him (sort of) now I'll send them back. haha Worst comes to worse, just buy them somewhere else. But I'd like to get them from this CDN site, with the "Warn Premuim Manual Hubs" for a 98 Nissan Pthfinder.. like the site said they were for, part number aside... heres the link if you were to search "Warn" for a 98 Nissan Pathfinder.. you d come up with this (disregard the part number, cause you're "new") http://www.autopartsway.ca/acp/index.cfm?I...464~YR10~KSwarn Tell me what you'd by if you didn't know what was the right thing to buy...
  19. Got my shocks and stuts.. they "look" really good. But the hubs I ordered were definitely wrong... of course
  20. I'm just waiting for my GR-2s, and Ranchos... Hopefully they both fit. I ordered a bunch of @!*% and right now I'm kinda worried about all of it. The site was kinda sketchy with the product names, prices and part numbers.
  21. Nissan3, do you have a pic of the street styles on you pathy?
  22. those are the small Street Flares. I'm sure they're probably the same size as the stock Pathfinder flares, but if I were to go the Bushwacker route, I'd want the slightly larger, pocket style flares :-)
  23. Where can you get bushwacker flares? I've only seen the street type available so far (really small by the looks of things, and go for $400 +) Anyone have a link or should I just go to a 4x4 shop?
  24. How much backspacing is enough to widen the stance (make the flares look filled) but not rub ( a little rubbing is fine, I don't mind cutting stuff hahha) I was looking at wheels with 3.75" of backspacing is that cool? Yell at me if this thread has been done to death
