  1. yeah mate, I have my kids til Sunday 6pm, can have a look then if you want.
  2. I found one, the guy who I sold my spare to didnt need it as it ended up being his glow plug regulator that was constantly draining his battery, might be worth having your alternator checked to make sure your not wasting your money on the alt. I can bring my multimeter over tomorrow around 6pm if you want, or if you have one, check to see what voltage your alty is puting out. If its your alty, the rebuilt one I sold him is yours for 100.
  3. Cheers mate, I sent you a PM regarding the alternator, what size tyres are the back ones?
  4. Give this guy a call, he still may have his, its off a GQ patrol, but it will bolt on fine http://perth.gumtree.com.au/c-Cars-Vehicles-Motorbikes-Parts-parts-accessories-engine-engine-parts-transmission-Alternator-W0QQAdIdZ247227632
  5. I believe its there to assist in braking, I know the yota alternators use the vacume pump for this purpose. One guy I know doesnt have one, waiting to hear back from the other guy.
  6. Yep, on the rear of the TD27 alternator there is a pump to provide additional vacume, this is fed oil from the engine.
  7. The SD33 which came standard in the MK Patrol here in Oz is the longer 6 cylender, not sure how it would go fitting inside the smaller engine bay of the Pathy. But with a BFH and a gas axe, anything is possible.
  8. I will make a call today, might be able to get one for you cheap as I know a couple of people who have parts trucks, will let you know as soon as I can.
  9. I had a look at mine, the wire I think you mean goes to a white plug up near my alternator, may be a difference between the 91 & 93. If you want to have a look let me know, can meet up.
  10. Bugger, Im just down the road and had a spare alternator up until about 3 weeks ago. The alternator off a TD42 GQ Patrol I believe is a bolt in fit, the Navara TD27 will also fit. Dont know if the Pathfinder one will work as the alty off a Terrano has a vacume pump built in.
  11. I'll have a bit of a peak after work today, any chance you can take a pic of the engine bay so I can see exactly where the wire is? Bit hard to recognise the location so close up.
  12. Readily available here in oz CLEARS These guys sell the ambers CLICKY
  13. G'day mate, where about SOR are you? I'm down in K-town, if you ever need a hand working on that thing, let me know.
  14. Take a bit of a look on this site, has exploded parts views of most assemblies. LINK
  15. Here is what some of the guys here in Oz are using, made from 10mm plate. CLICKY
  16. Give the guys at Snake Racing a call, they are a Calmini distributor and may be your best bet here in Oz.
  17. I think nunya and my1path have both did hardbody grill swaps, not straight forward, but fairly simple.
  18. Bobbing is to shorten the truck, can include shortenning the frame. What you need is a dual cab Navara (Oz Hardbody, take the tub off and put a tray on and your done.
  19. I know the owners of the 2.5TD pathys over here say that theirs smoke quite a bit too, seems to be a Pathy thing.
  20. Your best bet would be the TD27 as you said, this is the common engine here in Oz, another option is the QD32DET, which uses the same block as the TD27, but produces almost 50% more power. Not sure where you can get them from in the states, might be worth looking into importing one yourself.
  21. Hey Tyler, how is this thing going? Its been so long since your last update.
