Hi all the Aussies or anyone else who wants to listen. my uhf can handle 20 user channels on my uhf. for the newbie's these are only listening channels that can be programed into a uhf but you can not talk on these channels. for the price of welding is it worth getting an old body from a wreckers (jy) and swapping over. a life isnt worth it. even if the body has been striped. most of the chassis get scraped anyway. probly pick it up for a good price.

nah im a bit on the light side of the stimulas packege aswell. but where i can do it for just about stuff all i will do it. i seem to be able to get that sort of stuff cheap. but im always willing to give anything ago.

hell yeh. always run new wires especialy if running a new head unit aswell. on all parts. this includes power and speaker wires. and put on a noise supresor while youre there just to get rid of the engine noise......if you have a descent set up always use good quality wire. get the crap stuff that usualy comes with them and turf it. well thats my experience and raining aswell. but everyone has different arguments with it all.

Best of luck mr jim if youre reading. I know what youre going through. my ex sold my old girl and had to repo it from friends and put the ex in the @!*% with the police. ( she had it comming) . But hope all works out well in the end for you. nver meet you and probly wont but best of luck. Looks like a nice beast and i could just imagine how far youre heart sunk when seeing her in the wreckers.

i tried the dealership and they wouldnt eplace so i went to the local baby shop and got a little bracket used on carseat belts. it holds a normal seat belt (lap and sash) together when kids are in a booster seat. works wonders. thanks for all the ideas guys..... ill post a pic when i can
