Well, we're coming up on 2 years of having done this project. Glad to say everything has been holding up really well, despite not putting many miles on the truck annually. Odometer now reads 185,100, so I've only seen about 7,800 miles on them so far. At last check, pads and rotors were holding up just fine. Funny thing is that I took the truck to the nearby Nissan dealership earlier this year for the airbag recall, and their maintenance report said they were wearing low...jackasses probably had no clue what they were looking at. Still haven't looked into my ABS light, again noting that it came on several months after doing the swap. I deem them unrelated. In other news, the torch has been passed to @TowndawgR50 to also do the swap! I had been sitting on a spare set of discs for a long while now, and just shipped them up to him last week. Looking forward to seeing his take on the project and expanding this thread in the coming months.

Definitely swap those bushings haha, it’s going to be worth it by the looks of it (and really help narrow things down if it isn’t the fix). If you have the cash, buying the whole arm assemblies with pre-pressed bushings will save you a crap ton of work. I otherwise had to use a press and large impact sockets to get those suckers in and out of the arms. With a big press, it was easy. Never would have gotten it done without one, however.

Thanks again for the care package @hawairish!!! Definitely looking forward to this. I plan on using new OEM discs with HD pads then running the climb and, more importantly, the decent from Crystal Mountain lookout in Liberty to serve as my benchmark. The drums last about halfway through that decent as the 4.3 differentials in 4L dont have enough gearing to keep speeds down.

I saw them sitting on his bench last night. Frankly, even at ~8,000mi, I can’t think of a much tougher test environment than the Sonoran-super hot temps & ceramic hard rocks & dust. My judgement is that it speaks well of their integrity so far.@TowndawgR50 will give them the wet test. Next we need a Canadian or NorEaster to give them the salt test....

If they have a problem aligning it after a 2" lift (assuming its a 2"+-), they either aren't using camber bolts with enough angle adjustment, or are incompetent. That type of simple lift shouldn't create any driveline vibration. Usually it doesn't.

Can't answer if they sit higher than the 9447, but I got the 9449's due to the increased load capacity. The springs were the exact same overall height as stock springs with the 2.5" spacer, but the truck sits about 1.5" higher installed without the spacer since they don't sag. I went crazy the other week and ordered a bunch of LED bulbs from various Chinese eBay sellers. Hey, it was only a few dollars in total, so what's the harm. I received my first ones and the results are disappointing. Not sure if this is how all LEDs are or it is because they are cheap Chinese LEDs. Anyone have any experience with these? My first arrival was the map lights. Here is the package I received in the mail - two weeks from the order day. Here is the original OEM incandescent bulb lighting the interior. I installed one for a comparison Here is how the interior looks with the led Final opinion, it changes the lighting to a more white light, but it isn't as bright. Ironically I think I like the old ones better.

I've had excellent luck with superbrightleds.com LED's.
