I know I'm a newbie, but I refuse to pay the shop to fix this when I have the time and want to get my hand dirty... The AIR (both hot and cold) has just stopped blowing... so, it's either the Blower Moter, the resistor or what??? has anyone had their air just stop blowing? I hear something kick on when I move the knob, but ZERO air comes out?

Thanks...

Some of the Pathys (not usre what years, just know its not mine :D ) have a known issue with the blower, not sure if it is the switch or relay.

Some one who does know will be along to post a usefull answer soon, I am sure.

have you had it open yet? does the squirrel cage rotate freely? If your drain was clogged, there is a chance that you have some debris preventing the fan from rotating.

Ok, I got the glove compartment open, and got into the unit. It has leave debris and a lot of water inside it. Should I take the entire thing apart and drain the water? Also, where the heck is the drain hose so I can clean that thing too??

Well a lot of water in the blower motor does not sound good to me. I definetely think you have to drain it first off, then figure out why there is water in it. And whether the water shorted it out. That is what I would think first off but then again there are people here who have probably done this job before I personally have not.

So, I'm gonna guess that there isn't supposed to be water in this black holding tank? I didn't even know that (never worked on AC before) Thanks for that... I guess I will take the black cover off, drain the water and wait for someone to tell me WHERE the drain hose is... Thanks for your help... I'll post some pics once I'm done with this pathy...it's taking a 1600 mile road trip to it's new home in IDAHO where I'll off road with it till the wheel fall off!!

ok>>UPDATE>>> I took the glove box off, looked inside the condensor (?) box, drained it off a ton of water, removed the leaves, etc... put it back together and still no action... So, what would you guys recommend next? Something is pulling power from the engine when I turn the air cond (or heat) on, but NO AIR comes out...nothing... should I replace the resistor or the blower? both?
