Just curious, what is the line that goes down the middle of my windshield and then goes across the bottom of the driver's side glass? I was thinking it was a heater, but it never gets warm when the defroster is on. I also think it's aftermarket glass. It doesn't say nissan on it.

Only lets me delete posts after the first one. haha. Well, while the thread is going...has anyone added an antenna and put it somewhere else? Only reason I ask is my windshield is broken anyway.

What exactly are you asking? Doesn't your truck already have a mast antenna mounted on the passenger front fender?

 

If you need to replace your windshield, you can specify to the auto glass replacement company that you have the built-in diversity antenna.

That is what I did.

 

The DA does diddly for me as there are almost no FM stations worth listing to around here. And the one AM station is not much better :oops:

thats what you did?!?....you can just do it, its built in so either your r50 came with the da or it didnt. mine did and i broke my windshield....im starting the convertible path right now...haha nah im kidding, its almost 5 am here.

 

i did get an estimate $225 installed w/o da, 255 installed w/da

Mine had the DA as orginal, so the new one was DA as well. B)

 

Insurance covered the cost. ;)
