Duffman
Ive started the BL and everything is detached from the body/firewall but Im just having trouble with the fan shroud. Am I supposed to completely remove this beast or just trim it while its on there? Ive been reading some old posts and I guess some people had 2 piece shrouds but mine shure seems like a 1 piece, its not going anywhere without the fan blades getting in the way. Ideas, or comments would shure be appreciated. I know some of you have had this issue before and I would love some input. (im freaking exited....) RedPath88
iirc the very bottom of the shroud... along the rounded section is removable... I think this is what they are referring too. But I may be wrong as even though I have a body lift sitting in my closet (for the past several years ) I have never installed one

88pathoffroad
There is a clip-in section at the very bottom of the circular part that's removeable...

Mr. Pickles
Weird, mine came apart easy. If it doesn't come apart and is actually a solid part, maybe you could just trim the parts that interfere.
Duffman
There is a small bottom piece that came out and will provide just enough clearance to trim it while its still on the car. Thanks for the info!
Spolar93
hahaha glad to see i'm not the only person who gets excited when wrenching on their truck. i just unclipped the bottom from the top, and i'm running without it, no over heating problems as of yet. eventually i'll get around to putting the efan in
