What suspension for my 94 Pathfinder

HI team!

I need some help, I want to upgrade my 94 Pathfinders sad sagging suspension.

I am looking for a modest 2-3 inch lift, then maybe a 2 inch body lift to follow.

I would be grateful of your sugestions and knowledge in this area.

You mau also want to consider aftermarket UCAs (upper control arms) but since you want a modest lift, you can get by without.

I have the T-bars indexed and JGC springs in the rear. Along with new shocks, I'm quite happy. Read up and post any questions you might have.

And you're welcome for those JGC coils too B. Yeah, lifting a Pathy can be fairly easily. Read those links, re-index the t-bars, replace them if they still sag, and go with the JGC coils. 20 bucks for a 2" lift, you can't go wrong. You want more, then the bucks come.

I am going to up for more than a few bucks.

I think the last owner may have been on the large size as the Tbar is almost maxed out!

 

How does this sound

Rancho 9000 adjustables all round

New Tbars

2 inlift springs from 4x4parts dot com

New bushes all round

 

2 inch body lift.

 

what am I missing?

^Sounds like they need to be re-indexed.^

 

You could use used Jeep springs and save some money for other goodies; just cut a little off for a modest lift.

Seriously, try READING the links and then deciding what you plan to do. Save your $ when you can, if only to get more goodies. Things like winch bumpers start getting pricy...

...some of the same things have been talked about, but there is a $ breakdown that might be on interest to your wallet

 

Not exactly the same parts, but you'll probably get the idea

Gidday mate,

down canterbury way this is from. I have a 94 V6 and have a 2"body lift and with ARB suspension another 2". I just reindexed the torsion bars as I found replacements too expensive. Problem with any more lift is you do have to start modifying upper control arms etc. I tend to wear out my tie rods with this lift. But it is a vast improvement on stock stanard. The coils carry a load pretty good on the trach as well. When I replace them I will be going for ranchos and probably different coils as well. Soundas like your on your way.

Um, how many times do I have to thank you for the cast off springs you got for free ?? Not like I don't make custom parts for you that you don't even install... Maybe I should start charging for my work.
