Mrelcocko
Installing a new gasket on my idle air control valve and wondering if I need to use RTV sealant or put it on dry? Backpacker
I would think dry is fine. Only reason I ever put rtv on gaskets is for extra leak protection from fluids. I guess air is a fluid, but I don't think it would need it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Slartibartfast
If I was going to put something on that gasket, it'd be the copper gasket spray stuff, but dry should be just fine.
