rear window gas shock

So Im trying to restore my 95 LE RWD to its former glory and I was wondering has anyone replaced the rear window shocks mine are the originals from 20 yrs ago. If anyone has a part number or any info on how to find the part number I would really appreciate it. thanks

No idea on part number but I think I got mine from Rockauto a few years ago. Pretty cheap and they still work.

I tried the lower-price ones, and ended up replacing them after a week because they couldn't hold up hatch or glass.

 

Check out StrongArm lift supports - I got mine from Amazon, but they can be found in a lot of places.

 

For the hatch, StrongArm 4758 (x2)

For the glass: StrongArm 4815 (L) and 4816 ®

 

They're $18-20 each. I've had them for about 18 months and haven't had any issues.

Checked mine and yeah, 4815 StrongArm. This is the second rig I've had this same set bolted to and they still look new.

Does anyone know why they have a private label for $16.86 and a regular inventory for $12.60?
