Help with home grown lift - JGC springs...

Its me again :-)

Was persuing the board and found the page about using JGC springs w/longer shocks to lift the rear of your pathy.

My Question is, does adjusting the torsion bars up front provide enough lift to match the 3-ish inches you get from the JGC springs? If so is the $40 ball joint spacer enough to keep my suspension from prematurely biting the bullet? How hard is it to install this spacer?

Would this type of lift make my 31x10.50's look small? or is it not enough to worry about a tire upgrade?

Ahhh, 4 wheeling on a budget :D

Oooook.

The 1" spacers with cranked t-bars will wreck your sh*t. The 1/2" spacers are apparently OK, but they don't fix any angles whatsoever. They just allow you to crank up the t-bars more before they bottom out on the bumpstops.

1. It's close enough. You'll need an alignment after that, though.

2. No.

3. Not very.

4. No.

5. Don't worry about tires until you have the clearance to run bigger ones.

;)
