Trogdor636
If you don't off road much, I wouldn't worry. Unless your roads have potholes everywhere?
Precise1
Agreed. Actually a damper on the road can mask some issues so it isn't always beneficial. The best use for it is to reduce bump steer often found on lifted vehicles and offroad. B
nunya
Yes! They look mega off roady! (Even if hidden by the factory skid ) ROCKCRAWLER!
Alkorahil
The steering dampner were optional on the Pathfiinder. Some had it, some didnt. In the end it is up to you. Do you need it for reagular driving....no. Is it something you want? that is up to you.
Nefarious
I prefer the damper for on and off road. It just makes the steering feel nicer, especially before I did the 2wd swap. The stock bump steer sucked.
ahardb0dy
I agree with Nefarious, Although I don't have a stabilizer on mine, yet, you have to realize the wider the tires, and 31/10.50's ar enot really a wide truck tire but they are wider than most normal car tires, the wider the tire the more easily they will catch onto defects in the road and can cause the tuck to pull or jump to the side of the defect. Lots of members on here will tell you the stock dampener is fine that Nissan uses decent shocks but my opinion is if your going to use one get an aftermarket stabilizer, just look at the size difference for one thing. Nefarious
Yeah, stock or aftermarket. Either way its a really nice ride quality improvement. I use the factory one myself and it holds up to my 33x12.5 tires nicely. The aftermarket one is probably even better.

hagge
Hi! I have heard that the most price efficent way to improve your on road steering/handling, is to swap the tention arm bushings to polyurethane ones. Ayone who has done that? Nefarious
It's true. Best bang for buck for front end feel. Well, that and the poly sway bar kit
