TrailChaser
I've been thinking that I broke the timing belt for the last 3 weeks... Turns out the little screw that holds the rotor to the shaft fell out. That little screw just saved me $1500. I screwed it back in and the ol girl cranked right up. ILoveMyPatty
1990 SE 197,000km I've got some bada$$ speed wobble goin on.... I haven't had the time to get the front end checked out yet, my insurance ran out, waiting to sell my bike to get money for it. So I'm gonna use the time to throw in a BL or the JGC swap and UCAs. The speed wobble is pretty dang wierd, but if I turn it to the "sport" suspension, it goes away... Drivers side front window sticks going up. Rust on the rockerpanel, right at the front of the drivers door, corner, spot, thing... it goes all the way thru. Clifford security system is hooped. Doesn't allow me to start the vehicle. (thought it was the starter at one point which forced me to replace it with a new one)... After installation, it still wouldn't start... Figured out all I had to do was pull the fuse for the alarm and it would start. Stupid immobilizer thing. Seems like my power steering is starting to go... doesn't like turning when it's not moving. Fixed problems: Broken manifold stud removed and replaced New clutch, after throwout bearing decided to give up on me Gah, the joys of having no job- no money- no way to fix the problems Wahhhhh Although, I am fortunate that they aren't too major... anymore, the clutch was bad.. RedPath88
Blowing White smoke till the engine gets warm.. not sure why! Blown head gasket? Perhaps the expansion of the block/head is sealling a slight leak between a water jacket and a firing chamber, after it warms up? I know, not likely but it's a shot in the dark PS Sun visor Wont stay up Sorry *snicker*
