Has anyone made a cargo shade for their r50

I sold my mint black one on ebay for a pretty penny.

before you buy one you should know that they are really awkward. I found that the tinted windows was a much better solution.

Yeah i know they make them. Ive just had problems finding one, and all the ones for sale are for that pretty penny. Plus i have single 12"sub in the back but it sits just a hair to high for a stock shade to fit in right. So i would have to get a stock one and modify it or make my own.

 

Ive have aftermarket tint but you can still see in. I just dont like prying eyes. I had a previous car get broken into so i guess its just extra paranoia

How much are you looking to spend at the lowest? I know my neighbour keeps his black one in his basement. Maybe $40 for a case of beer would persuade him lol, but your in the states shipping would be a bit for such a long item and I dont know how much your looking to spend

My interior is black but any color would prob due because i figure i could get some interior dye and go to town.

I'm with you. Mine is in my truck 95% of the time and extended most of that time. I love having it. And yes, my tint is limo strength (5%).

I have a near mint grey one in my '98. The only issue is shipping to the US...

 

Even with the tint, it's still nice to have the shade. I only take it out for camping.
