ahardbody, that is a clean looking brace you made! im definately gonna check mine out and see if i can do some thing similar. Nissaneric, well i havent really seen much of mpg increase if any but it really roars around 2000-3000 rpm and then screams up hill at about 4500 rpms. Im really liking the way it sounds though and seems to not have as much hesitation when shifting anymore. But if you do this, i wouldnt plug that little vac hose with anything cause on mine it seemed to not breathe as good and too the roar away. Hope this helps

Yep same MAF sensor, the adaptor fits perfect to it with a gasket it comes with

Yeah its a pretty cool filter for only $18 on ebay. I thought about your idea with the stock air box but did this instead. Made a brace out of a strip of steel. Drilled a hole on each end and bolted one end to a hole above the radiator and the other end on the clamp on that intake tube. looks pretty clean to me and a cheap fix. here it is

Well i havent noticed much roar inside the vehicle but when the hood is up and manually reving it, i can really hear it roar... It does seem deeper with the exhaust when cruising. As for the mpg, i just filled the tank so ill see and reply back on that

Thanks for the replies, unfortunately the check engine light came up today... got the P0443 code, Evap canister purge volume solenoid valve. I plugged that little hose with a screw like DanAK said. Would this code have to do with that little vacuum line?

Alright, im having a problem with some electrical stuff in my 97' pathy. The other day i was trying a different stereo deck that a friend had laying around and found out that the deck was broken but ever since i plugged it in, the power antenna went up like its supposed to and thats when i realized the deck didnt work. But anyways, when i unplugged it, the antenna didnt roll back in and i noticed my little security light wasnt working anymore and the beeping when the door is ajar wasnt working either... Seemed to me like a blown fuse or something but they were all ok. Just cant seem to figure it out and was wondering if anyone has had this problem... any help would be great. Also there is no power to my amp anymore... so i dont know WTF

Whats up everyone, Im new to the site, found it on nicoclub and it looked like a lot of those guys were on here too so i decided to check it out. Im Kellen and im currently living in Surprise, AZ. Been here about a year but havent really looked for any cool places to wheel or go off-road so i was hoping there would be some fellow Arizonans on here who could maybe show me around or let me know where the good trails are. I have a 97 pathfinder with 31's, not lifted yet but hoping to lift it when i have the funds... I can already tell this is an awesome forum so any info on the area would be great
