giddyuppony
Ok so every so often ill be driving along an my pathy will start smelling like blown out candle smoke. I have tried to narrow it down: It seems to be strongest after do a long turn where the wheel is cranked fully over, when i have been in traffic and there has been a lot of stop and go(so lots of clutch work), and sometime just when it feels like it. Anyone have a clue? There are no fluid leak coming from under the car, checked that, oil levels are all good, brake fluid is fine...etc. Im really weirded out by it all. JamesRich
You need to clean the blower motor resistor. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=7466 James

nunya
Well,it could be a lot of scents...Cherry,vanilla,grape? A SMOKED CLUTCH STINKS,Nothing like candle smoke... calm down nismo, we don't all have scratch-and-sniff coputer moniters, and his sence of smell may be a little different than yours and WAY off from my screwed up sence of smell. On the same note, an electrical meltdown ain't exactly the most popular air freshner either...
GrimGreg
Since it is on turns, have you checked your power steering components and fluid? Is your alignment off, or steering stops not adjusted and you are toasting the tires on turns?
tmoore4512
Yea, good advice here...but seriously, check that blower motor resistor, you wont be sorry...and it really doesn't take that much time...(and may prevent your truck from burning.)
