Precise1
Being between the radiator and AC it sits in front of the radiator, so it gets the cold air before the radiator, and at slow speeds the fan pulls the air through it before the radiator. I can see some heat exchange at low speed do to proximity, but the fan should negate a good bit of that. My bad, brain fart... But yes, the coolers are recommended to be placed outermost for greatest efficiency, but you know that... B
kiwipete
My cooler is on the outside of the AC cooler, top left hand corner when looking at the front. I do not have a temp gauge for the tranny fluid, but suspect it doesn't overheat as the fluid is in good nick when checked at every engine oil change. Soccerstudd5
I'll be installing a dedicated one on it, probably on the underside of the hood with a cowel on top of the hood and e-fan below the cooler. I think this is my favorite of the options listed so far. Sounds like the most protected and most airflow, only problem would be more fabrication for the cowl hood, but definitely doable. MY1PATH
JUST remove a headlight and stick it there. plenty of airflow and now heat soak from other radiators.
