drain plug

so today i would try to flush my radiator and the drain plug broke off in the radiator so now its leaking, i was able to seal it a little but it still drips , really made me mad!!

 

just felt like sharing that with everyone

if its the soft nylon kind you should be able to get it out easy enough, shoot me an e-mail reminder ghj018@hotmail.com and when I get home tonight I'll see if maybe still have the one from my old radiator. If I do, I'll send it 2 ya.

just for a future advice kinda deal, i just drained mine by removing the lower hose (i gotta cut it down anyways) so maybe this would be a better option for next time?

The drain in mine was a joke and just let out a dribble. I ended removing the bottom radiator hose also...

I always drain them by the lower hose, the "drains" are a joke.

update, because of my job i didn't really have the time to work on it, so i took it in to a trusted garage and they said part of the plug was broken off inside, and that my radiator is S^%T soo im just gonna replace it. it ran kinda hot anyway.
