brake fluid leaking beetween the master cyl and booster

Assuming that it is not a spill from overfilling it, I would recommend that you pull it (four bolts) and see if there is fluid inside. If your carefull you "should" be able to get enough movement out of the brake lines to take a look. I have on several other vehicles, but have never tried on a Pathfinder.

 

Yes there are rebuild kids for most M/C's, but consider time/cost ratios. Price both and see if its truely worth your time to rebuild it yourself :aok:

when i bought it the light was on so it was low i just added some in there 3 days ago then i had to add some before work this morning. i'll have it looks at. dont want to take chances driving it then it gives out cause i use it for my job everyday. thanks for the replies

have someone hit the brakes and look at the base of the MC where it hits the booster...if you see fluid come out then yea your MC is on its way out...there is enough room to disconnect the MC from the BB and take a look back...I just removed the BB on my 95 i stripped without disconnecting the brake lines from the MC

when i had to change my MC it was cheaper to get a new one, than to get the rebuild parts.

x2, about the same to rebuild or get a pre-rebuilt replacement. Mine was leaking the opposite way, the booster was forcing air into my MC and on into the brakelines.
