k9sar
they pop off fairly easy. Have you checked the local mall or grocery store?
flnl
Mines are bad too. I'm thinking of painting them. Don't know if it's gonna work and last...
Crazy Geologist
So I was thinking about painting my wheels and caps black, and I figure the wheels will be no problem, but the caps seem like they would lose paint each time you go off road (due to chipping from debris) any one know if they make special paints for plastic? Mr. Pickles
There's a brand, I think Krylon, that makes a "Fusion" line specifically for painting plastic. Black could be cool, maybe even that anodized black stuff that has a little shimmer in it. Then slap on the good ol' Type R sticker...
statikuz
Yeah, I used that Krylon Fusion for repainting the little windshield wiper hood grill things and it worked slick. Hasn't started to come off yet.
94 Pathy
Mine started to fade, so I painted them with an aluminum looking paint to match the wheels, but after awhile, they faded again. I decided to paint them the hammered look along with all my other accessories. I think they look cool and haven't faded at all!

94 Pathy
Thanks guys! I've painted my centers the aluminum look for a while and they kept fading, so I used a hammered look. All my exterior trim except the bumpers are painted with this and a lot of the interior trim also. I've had many compliments around here from people also. I think yours would look just fine Flnl! What do you have to lose? All you have is to gain a new look. 94 Pathy Travis
