Lokka Front Diff Locker, Available Or No?

Anyone in Oz know if this locker fits the R200A or if that's just for the Patrol front H233 axle? This site lists the Lokka locker for $689 or so, listing was added this year...

This site is amazing. How do they justify doubling the prices on the Calmini parts?? That's insane.

How does your company justify doubling the pricing on Calmini parts for Nissan Pathfinder/Terrano? I can get the Calmini upper control arm kit for $349 from Calmini, from your site it costs $699?!? Insane. $2495 for the exact same transfer case gears that Calmini sells for $1295? Incredible. $490 for a slip yoke eliminator kit that sells for $219 at Calmini? Amazing.

 

You may want to adjust some pricing. Just an idea.

As for the prices... I have pissed and moaned about them for years. You do know that it is cheaper for us to import a locally made (Adelaide (the home of sw)) lockright locker from the states than to buy it here don't you? After shipping and taxes, you still save about 4 to $500. I can't work it out!

One - We are in New Zealand and freight costs are prohibitive

Two - The exchange rate between the two dollars

Three - Customs duties and GST for importing the products.

 

I can quite easily put the price up higher and actually make a profit from

importing it rather than breaking even!

I buy the odd bit of stuff from USA. I bought my locker when it was $1NZ to $0.78US cheap locker.

BUT if you buy something worth more than IIRC $400NZ not including shipping, you get stung with a $65 (B/S) fee plus 12.5% tax

 

I see the locker they sell is $799.00NZ......I paid $425NZ including 8 day shipping

Looking at getting Warn hubs from USA now

 

[edit] Just remembered Aaron, somewhere ages ago you said the 4wd shifter boot was about $20US from dealer (Not holding you to it)

I rang Nissan here OVER $200NZ I said "I don't want the gearbox, just the boot" I don't think he found it funny

The $US is collapsing at an alarming rate, for them. But for us it will be all good. Give it another 6 to 12 months at the current economical and trade deficit levels and your $NZ will be worth as much as the $US, if not more. We are already at record highs for $AU. Not too long ago it was $AU0.75 to the $US1. We are now at $AU0.90 to the $US1. I am saving my $$$$ for a spending spree in the US. Can't wait.
