Powertrax Lock-right Locker (verification)

After doing a bunch of searching & reading & searching this kick-arse forum (I think I saved myself alot of unnecessary swapping and re-swapping)

I was going to swap my diffs as my SE (with rusted rear frame) has LSD & my "new" 95 XE is open diff & rear drum  but as I read I noticed alot of posts in my search saying LSD cannot ad a locker; :crossedwires:

So I guess I keep the open diff and it's gearing and swap the rear disc over at a later time.

So I will keep my open diff in and add the locker (unless anyone disagrees with this option)

Included the link to summits page with the locker I am to purchase.

I did search and read; just want to verify before I order & start working on her this weekend.

Thanks once again; ordering one; wifey is going to break my legs soon as the CC bill gets here.

Have to tell her it's AC, Summit & NPORA boards pressuring me into upgrades.

Still get my legs broke; but at least I won't have to get out of the truck and try to get unstuck (if I hurry and get them installed before the bill gets here!)

Note: H233b is the model number of all pathfinder rear diffs (except maybe 4cyls)

We all have 3rd member diffs.

WD21 95 and earlier pathfinders have 31 spline diffs and the lock rite will fit into the carrier of an open 31 spline diff.

R50s 96 - 04 have 33 spline diffs with larger shafts and the lock rite will not work for an open diff although most are lsd

The arb for 96-04 33 spline H233b diffs replaces the ENTIRE carrier so it will work for a LSD diff or an open diff.

Here are pics of the arb diff.

The 3rd member empty

Here is a picture of the carrier, this is the front diff NOT the H233b but similar, notice how the ARB IS the carrier, it doesn't use the existing carrier...so since it replaces the carrier it can go in any axle designed for regardless of the type of carrier (lsd or open)

Look around and you can get a much better deal than that. I paid $250 shipped for mine off an ebay store. I think it was RockRoadOutfitters or something like that..?
