that's why i don't let anybody else work on my vehicles. unless it's still under warranty like my titan is. but once that warranty is up i will do all the repairs.

They few times that I have had a shop do something for me (diagnostics once, couple oil changes in a pinch, carb adjustment I could just not get right myself, exhaust) I almost without exception, watch the work being performed from start on to completion.

All I can say is that there are some scammy stores out there. I used to work for Jiffy Lube; every job I did was correct and I never had anyone come back with problems we caused. *shrug*
