govols74n
I got this off of my local 4x4 club site and I know some of you go to MOAB..(lucky MF's) DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! « on: 03/29/07, 04:25PM » Reply with quote This is a cut and paste from another BBS but I thought it important enough to place here. If your a member of another forum post it there too. It is reliable as all the companys have been contacted and asked if they were aware of what they signed and all listed below said yes. There are businesses that do not want us in Moab and I thought Id list them here. These companys all signed a petition sent to the govenor to restrict our trails. I dont think any company should be earning our money if thats what they think of us. The ones in red are the ones that I think are the ones to remember as they are the most likely to get our hard earn money. Mr. Pickles
That's BS, its like Seattle, San Diego or Miami deciding to try and keep people from coming with boats. Or Aspen telling people to go away and keep their skis at home. Why not put the effort toward more productive angles like educating people on doing their activities with minimal impact? Pezzy
Over the top tree huggers... I love nature and all, but some of these people are so damn extreme and close minded.

tmorgan4
I have a hard time believing some of that. Why would these places want to shut down the things that the majority of tourists go out there for? This is a town that surely relies on tourism to stay alive, so I don't get why they'd want to keep people out.
GrimGreg
They want to keep wheelers out. They still want hikers and bikers....oh and the tour companies want to be the sole wheeled access .
