  1. Anyone know if there's adjustment for the rear glass latch? mine is currently leaking and its raining almost everyday where i live so id like to somehow seal back up the rear of my pathy
  2. Ok folks, I'm trying to fix my speedometer/odometer in my 1995 Nissan pathfinder. I know this is a somewhat common problem, and have looked through some other helpful posts. Still struggling to find exact details for my specific year. So, I bought a Chilton repair manual thinking it would have all the electrical diagrams to be able to diagnose this, but alas it wasn't that helpful. I couldn't find any detailed wiring diagrams specifically for the dash. Any tips from the experts on where I can find a schematic showing what is supposed to be at each wire in the harness? Or just any tips in general on diagnosing this? For completeness, here's the symptoms: A few months back the speedometer started getting twitchy. It would twitch down as you are driving at a constant speed--it never twitched above your true speed (checked with GPS watch). Then, this worsened and eventually got to the point where it would stop working altogether and stay at 0. Often times when the speedometer is stuck at zero the check engine light is also on. The times when it was stuck at zero (as opposed to being twitchy) eventually became more and more common, until now it is always stuck at zero with the check engine light on. The odometer also does not work when the speedometer is stuck at zero. Transmission seems to be functioning normally. Really appreciate any and all help!
  3. Hello all, I've been a lurker since the fall, having saved my red XE from the scrapheap (it drove to the crusher and they were still going to do it!) Anyway, I'm in need of some odd bits that my eBay searches have failed to reveal up to this point, and scrapheaps in the area haven't been very helpful. Cosmetic condition is not as important as functional condition to me. Grey curved plastic trim piece behind passenger rear door. I need the rear window bolts/caps and the balls that connect the lift struts to the rear glass. Mine is missing both (covered with tape). One (1) of the roof rail crossbars so I can mount a roof carrier.
  4. I have a 95 2wd pathfinder with a VG30E 213300 and on start up there is a rattle like tinging noise from the front of the engine, NOTE the more I take off the more I replace since everything is original lol so I'm in no rush to tear it down immediately so never hurts to bounce some ideas around... It is due for new belts.... As it warms up it gets better no misfires or hard starting either... After 45 seconds quiets down to normal.(tinging -rattling stops) The pulleys are ok but weathered, nothing crazy loud except the.a.c compressor and that's a different tick or tinging. A.c clutch is noisy but works... It all quiets down after a 45 to 55 seconds..Oil pressure is great, no codes thrown for anything except gas cap which is now fixed. Transmission has codes havent sat down long enough to.look at it yet.
