take out the cointray under your steeing wheel. There's a fusebox in there. there is a diagram on the top of the cointray. im not sure if theres a headlight fuise in there

my QX4 and my civic having done about 175,000 driving miles in CA with tinted front windows like this, i've never actually been pulled over for it but i have received tint tickets after being pulled over for other violations. for example I once ran a stop sign and cop was watching, i was very nice to him and he was nice in return, i got a tint ticket and just a warning on the stop. make sure your car can pass smog, i was stopped by chp at a roadside smog checkpoint last week where they did a quick tail pipe sniff test, mine passed but i saw them towing a couple of cars that didn't pass! and yes you need CARB stickers on anything aftermarket, related to emissions...

hehehe, the truth is an open diff 2wd is actually only 1wd in snow, sand, and mud!! my 4wd is at best a 2wd because of these damn open differentials!!

anyways, back to the original question, all of the things you posted are basics!! I could do all that labor and more, in under two hours (by myself). It's not worth it to pay $120 an hour to have somebody work on your car while you're wasting expensive time in a waiting room. Hell, even if you want to do all that shizz elsewhere: Oil change - $15-40 Diff fluid is $25 each, even at an expensive "wrench monkey" type place. $75 for front, back, and transfer case. PS you can bargain with these people! Spark plugs.... $20 come on, too easy, change them yourself or wear a purse tire rotations are FREE at discount tire AKA americas tire. micro filter, $15 and 20 seconds of labor. I counted $130 of services, for all the same stuff as dealership literally, less than 2 hours of work dealerships are ripoffs!

in mexico they do all the lugnuts carefully by finger as long as you watch them. go into the back room and all you hear is impact gun!!

my choice came down to a 01 pathfinder 5 speed VS. 99 QX4 automatic. Both 4x4. The 01 had cloth interior, no options, but the 3.5... I chose the QX4 as I fell in love with the leather, wood grain, auto climate, quiet cabin, smooth suspension, and non-mirror tint. I'm still learning how to tolerate the 3.3 Both probably would have been great choices, but what's making me angry now is the open differentials, IFS, and lack of aftermarket parts!!!

i'm at 105,000 miles right now in my 99 QX4. i'm planning on going to baja this week, what are the chances of my timing belt popping within the next 600 miles? how far do you guys go between intervals? please advise, heres a pic of my destination

yup, its colored glass, u cant scrape it off. luckily, my qx4 had dark, non-mirror factory windows!! i hate the mirror ones!! heres mine with factory dark colored glass and a layer of tint

I read somewhere on 4x4parts.com that a guy in a older HB pathfinder welded his front differential, making it 100% locked like a lincoln front locker. Is this possible to do in an R50? I really want to lock my differentials without spending too much $$. Suggestions?

i have squeezed 50 miles out with the gas light on... yeah its a 21 gallon tank and mine lights up with about 3 gallons left it's not good to run low on a pathfinder - the internally submerged fuel pump uses the gasoline to keep cool. It gets hot when you're running on empty.

do it on a cold engine, and yes, spray it off when youre done
