  1. have any pics? I havent really seen the aluminum ones on any trucks...
  2. I believe the T-17 is pretty much the same, however does not have the bars on it like mine does.
  3. As for an aftermarket bumper - I am assuming you mean the front... for your year 1996 - the only ones that make it (as far as I know) is TJM, however they have discontinued the line. I know a few suppliers still have the aluminium ones in stock (if you like the shiny bling type), but the black steel powder coated ones are a rare find. (Again, I apologize to vengeful, as he sits there hating me as he reads this - I'M SORRY!!!) I have the TJM, which isn't supposed to fit my truck (I have a 99.5), and it fit with little issues... The only bumper for my truck that is available is the ARB safari - which is pretty nice looking, but mucho diñero. I have no idea if it would fit the 96-99's....
  4. I have the 2" lift from AC with Bilstein Shocks in the back KYB GR-2 Struts in the front... shop around on AC - they have a couple different packages... also, when I was shopping I did a few searches for info & opinions here and on other boards...
  5. We had big plans to make our way our there for this years run... but then reality set in... stupid money. I think there is still a distant hope we will try for next years jamboree...
  6. you guys look a bit short bussy here but looks like fun.. water temp? any ideas.. not cold water fan here.. at all! Good thing they werent in a yellow X then? hehe... I will admit the water was pretty chilly to get into, but once you hit the first rapid you forget about the cold.
  7. nahhh.... be too quiet if you did!
  8. We went to the elora Gorge a few weeks ago... http://www.muddynissan.com/photos/elora071605/ What kind of things are you looking into?? I dont really know much on the west side...
  9. I say who cares, as in - well really who cares - one isnt better than the other... as it's all our opinions... I like the R50 best, but like I said, most of that is bias... and if I thought it looked like ass, chances are I wouldnt own one. But, that's not to say I think it's any better than the others...
  10. Like I said - I voted for mine. Next on my list would be the 87-95 I'm not a fan of the '05 yet...
  11. how would that piss me off? (see my sig)
  12. Who's panties are in a bunch? and why are you wearing 'panties' anyway?
  13. Where is the who the eff cares button?? I like mine best, but I'm bias... and chances are pretty good most of us will vote accordingly...
  14. I'm thinking of looking into the Thule airdam... finding the $$ is another story!! As for factory airdam's... a lot of the Xterra guys remove theirs in the winter to help with milage... I can only assume it works.
  15. I dunno - after reading about how ugly it appearently is - I dont feel so good. *pouts* For those having issues ID'ing the pathy from afar... look for the rear door handle.
  16. Spinners on a pathy?!?! That would be kind of wierd. Ofcourse I wouldn't doubt if anyone did this already. If you ever scroll through the CarDomain pages, about half are on some sort of dubs. A quarter are stock and the other quarter are the ones set up for off-road. I consider mine stock. /\ what he said!! I've seen one in town here... I'm sure he thought the same of my truck, as I thought of his. My old truck was a 1990 Mazda B2200, and every now & then I would look them up on autotrader to see what they were worth... at least half of them were always slammed & dolled up bling bling style... I sure hope the guy who bought my truck didnt do that to it.

    Stolen!

Well, what an emotional thread.. I was all sad & pissed off for you hoping like hell it was stolen for a joy ride & in good shape... then read down further and read you have it back! Good stuff! Glad to hear... but sorry you had to go through the worry.
  18. Runnerman, our friends have a Libby as their onroad Jeep... he had looked into getting a lift for it - his choices are 2" spacers, or a 7" lift... wtf!! all or nothing!! I know they've had it offroad on some pretty stock trails, and it did well... but when they go wheeling they take the YJ!
  19. My story is actually on my website... we were looking for a new vehicle for me as my 1990 Mazda Pickup wasnt doing so well, when we found & bought the Xterra... a few months later I was still searching for new wheels. I hate car shopping. HATE. I dont use the word hate much, as it's a very strong word, but I hate car shopping. At this time we had been wheeling the X, and were involved with the Xterra club, and had a connection with the local Nissan dealership. What I wanted was a pickup truck... a 4 door at that... which left for slim pickin's, esp with my budget. so it seemed everything I would go truck hunting I would have to set my mind to getting a car instead... I had it narrowed down to the Toyota Matrix, and the Mazda Protegé 5... but then I was getting too picky... if I was going to have a car instead of the truck I wanted, I had to have 5 speed, sunroof, and the colour I wanted. Could you be anymore difficult pezzy?? Why yes, enter my small budget. So, pretty much giving up on the search once again - my husband says one morning 'What about the Pathfinder???' hmmm... why not... Ive always liked them... so he did a search on auto trader, and came up with a few... one of which was at our dealership... EXCELLENT!! So we called the service advisor there about it, he said it had just come in, they still had to do a once over of it, and would let us know... it turned out to be in great shape, with decent mileage (odd how we use KM's here, yet we still call it mileage?? anywho...) So we headed down to test drive it, and I liked it right away. My hubby was pretty surprised when I said, lets get it! right away... I tend to want to think about it, to be sure... We got a great deal on the truck from the dealer, and we traded old puttputt in (*sniff*), quite a few tears were shed, but I have to say this past winter was so much better knowing that it would start in the morning, and stop on the highway!
  20. Well, yeah, but the rack on top of my truck is doing a fine job of that on it's own... I'm trying to find a way to lessen that.
  21. Maybe he had to take off fast so you didnt mock him for not having his spinnaz on yet!
  22. Do you need a truck licence to drive a truck where your from Pezzy? We need them here, and I in fact have one. I don't need it to drive my Pathfinder though a car licence suffices for that. Also, every truck I have seen EVER has had a full box chasis. Much like the car I drive, you know, an 87 Pathfinder. :X Dont you worry Vsicks, I take it as my duty to pick on my friend Maximus... I call it a truck, and no arguement of yours will make me change that.
  23. maybe he's too fast & too furious?
