  1. Gotta say, thank goodness for boards like this one & SOXC, where you feel welcome and have friends. I dont need to go online to get my drama & stress, I already have a full time job.
  2. Idiots over on XOC have got me enraged... seems word on the street is that no one really wheels their pathy hard anyway... I dont suppose we have any members on that board that wanna post a few pics do we??
  3. I have a decent tint on my windows (although I do believe it is a factory tint) and because the shelf is high enough, you dont really see it when the truck is closed up... I only lose a couple inches (if that) of my view out the back window when driving...
  4. I have the Superskid, which is made up of the Champion & the Defender. You will have to remove the front one to do oil changes, unless you get an oil filter relocation kit. Installation was easy... hardest part was that there were a bunch of guys trying to help, and no one (except me) was reading the instructions... haha... Yeah, those bolts have my hubby looking for ways to countersink or otherwise hide them from the possibility of shearing them off... If you're wondering about getting skids... just dont be like this idiot who bent their subframe on a rock (we suppose) and cost themself $1200... Skids would have saved that crossmember from being caught & then bent up like that... oh wait, that idiot was me... D'oh!
  5. I dont know too much on the subject, however I do know that the Xterra guys have the same problems, and have yet to find a decent fix... They even fabbed their own brand of bushings... I'm not too sure how they ended up working out.
  6. Like I've posted in other threads... we wheel with a family of Jeepers (there was 6 jeeps there this weekend - only one wasnt 'family') and they are great to spend time with... we have both learned a lot from eachother... There are still jeepers that seem to think they are God's gift simply because of the emblem on their truck, but not everyone is like that.
  7. maybe for www.muddynissan.com ?? Thanks all for the compliments!!
  8. see here: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=4990 for lift info
  9. Sadly, it's already got a lovely collection of pinstripes... I'd say all but *counts*... 6... R50's I've seen up here have never been offroad...
  10. I havent had a problem with them at all... I know they're not mudders so I try to stay clear of bog holes that will eat up the pathy, but that doesnt mean I steer clear of them all... as you can tell by the new paint job on my truck... matte brown! We're concidering a set of mudders for next year, but I'm in no hurry, I love the Revos
  11. Congrats!! Now dont be letting the power go to your head... you were once like the rest of us you know...
  12. Word to the wise, never bid against vengeful, you'll never hear the end of it
  13. Here's a couple pics of my pathy skids from BlackPanther, painted in a light coat of mud!
  14. I stole the idea from my Xterra friends... Great place to stash light stuff like blankets, extra coat, first aid kit... I love it! All it is - is a piece of wire shelving from the orange box, trimmed to length... The back is held up by plumbers strapping, and a bolt.. I tore apart the moulding & found there was a support with a hole identical to the one that the stock hook mounts too, all I had to do was line it up to drill a hole in the plastic... The front just slips into the stock hook
  15. Went out with the "Jeep Jungle" this weekend, and hit a nice trail all the pics are here
  16. So far we've only used it in the trucks, so I cant say re: accidental activation... The autonav kit also comes with a clip for your belt - similar to some of the phone ones... which might be better than carying in your pocket?? (although I am not really a fan of it)
  17. I picked up the Garmin GPSMap60C for my husband this spring, and we love it... I dont believe we have had any problems with the unit... We also bought the AutoNav Kit with it so we can mount it in both trucks, plus it came with the power adaptor for the lighter, and a CD for maps... Got everything from Durham Radio. Unfortunately, it looks like youre a few weeks late, as they had a rebate for the 60C for $60 USD up until July 5th... :sniff:

    Off-road Kit

what are we, jeepers? ... sorry, had to... so no single guys added condoms to the list??
  19. 88, quit posting pics of your truck already, I'm trying to concentrate on work here... *smirk* I went with steel wheels, only because I didnt want to mash the hell out of my stock ones... I had a hard time deciding to change them up, as I liked the ones it had, they were nice & shiny. But the black wheels make my pathy look mean (well, IMHO)
