  1. I believe he glued it to the front of the pocket, cut out the back of the pocket for waring, and then put behind the 'dash' face...

  3. Here's the panel C4S has in the X... piece of plexy, painted w/ flat black paint, holes drilled for switches... to replace the "pocket".

  7. Sounds to me like you have a double-din. Your dash might not be the same as my 99.5... I have (actually HAD, I've since replaced it) the el cheapo version stereo - which is a double-din as ber below... If you only had a single din, you would have an extra pocket -- which I am pretty sure could be removed. (I had to ADD the pocket to go to a single-din -- see below)

  15. It's not really all that hard to remove them... in my case there are two skids, and they weigh a crapload more than the splash guard does. Also, I know in the case of the X, we have a few stripped bolt holes, which makes for added fun when youre trying to balance two heavy skid plates up straight and trying to get bolts in holes...
  16. D'oh! Youre the one guy I was hoping would know about these! Is there any reason the one for the Xterra wouldnt fit on an R-50? (assuming we both take the same oil filter??) We have these to make draining the oil easier...
