  1. one more sleep till I get tires and wheels! Spent tonight putting new roof bars on & the rack with the new extension on!! Tomorrow shall be the unveiling & photo day... and Sunday she'll be off road... YAY!
  2. that's a tad bit out of the way for southern Ontario!
  3. Well of course!! We have a couple members in Guelph also!
  4. lol@I just found this post now! There are a few other Pathy owners - maybe 10 of the 150 active users??? Theyre mostly nice to me and the other pathy owners, you just have to watch out for the bitter Xterra owners that traded a pathy in for the X!! (Kinda like how people who have quit smoking are the worst about smokers) We have members across Sothern Ontario, with a few out your way. We also have a couple members from Quebec, Manitoba, Alberta and from teh States also!
  5. XPLORx4: your link is being a jerk because the board automatically capitalizes Pathfinder... and your link spells it with a small p
  6. lmao - I'm never in this section of the forum, yet for some odd reason I wandered in here today!! I'm used to the comments about the Yellow X's There are A LOT of yellow one's in our club, and all the non yellows like to gang up on us! Yellow wouldnt been my choice, that's for my attention whore husband. I cant say I hate it at all though, I think it's pretty sporty looking, and on crappy, grey, rainy days, its very cheerful looking! Mud shows up on the yellow pretty good!
  7. HI there, we go to Dermac Nissan in Brampton. They are great - Ive been ripped off by a lot of dealers in the past who decide that they can hose me for the most expensive fix, simply because I dont know better... My dad think's I'm nuts going straight across the city for my service, but it's worth it - they've saved me a lot of money.
  8. We went with the 2" package from AC, with KYB Struts & Bilstein shocks... I'm sticking with the auto hubs, its not a necessity to change them, but it does reduce wear on the truck if you do change them... I think a lot of guys run with the auto hubs even with a lift...
  9. no problems yet... I've topped out over a few good speed bumps, so I have learned to take them slow again (reminds me of the days of having the lowrider!) I havent noticed much change at all, besides the fact the ride isnt as 'cushy' as it used to be, but my husband says its the same as the Xterra for the ride, so only a matter of days before I stop noticing that... I usually take corners pretty slow, so I havent noticed much change in that regard - I know I'm not driving a race car!!
  10. ummm... I'd have to convert CDN to US and Litres to Gallons let me sum it up by saying TOO darn MUCH! Last couple weeks prices have def. been on the rise.
  11. about two hours... a lot faster than I expected. took three guys to get the back coils in (I wasnt there for that part) I still have to get it aligned... and then she's good to go!
  12. well then, HAPPY B-DAY! :)
  13. Thanks... I like the look of that silver pathy with the bumper... Well, we decided to solve the problem by splurging on a new set of wheels... details to follow
  14. none of those pics yet... by the time we were out of there it was getting dark... crappy weather and all Yes, our dealership will jump hoops for us... theyre involved with the Xterra club and give us awesome service & discounts! The've managed to get A LOT of business from that!! Like I said, we drive 85 kms to get there... The same day he did the poor mans lift on another member's X, who came from another hour further than we are. They've had our american members come up for service too!! Oh yes, we'll need an updated driveway shot of the two trucks... esp when I get the tires on it. The tires that are bigger than his!! (although mine are AT's and he has XT's... but still! )
  15. hahaha.. nice call! happy 4/4
  16. LOL funny. You probably think we still live in Igloos shhh dont tell!! as for this little contest - I happily say - I LOSE!! My pathy is effing beautiful!
  17. We're looking at 31's, the question now is whether to get new wheels, or keep the stock ones... and that will determine the final size. It really depends on budget... we didnt have one to start with so... you know... $0 minus minus minus... yikes!! I was really suprised how fast it showed... esp shipping to Canada!
  18. animated GIF: of course, once I get tires, I'll post better pics.
  19. hehehe... He's already depressed enough about losing his photographer! One offroad truck has proven expensive enough... two is insane!! yet, we do it...
  20. Sorry to add another tire thread to the list. Ive been searching here, and on 3 other Nissan forums, and quite frankly - I'm gonna throw up if I keep searching... My Truck - 99.5 XE My Wheels - Stock 16" My tire selection - Bridgestone Dueller A/T Revos Size that will fit w/o hitting the strut - ______________ you tell me... We were originally looking at 275r70/16 but I think we need to slim that idea down... there's not a lot os space between the tire & the strut... here's a pic of the stock tire & new strut: here's the wheel style (in case it matters)
  21. I feel your pain!! I so wish it was closer...
  22. Well, suprisingly, the parts came in from AC on Friday (we ordered them Tuesday!! wow!! ) So we took the truck to the dealership yesterday, with expectations that they could do it Monday... (It's 85 km's from our place, and well worth the drive - this dealership is beyond AWESOME!) Well, the tech there said he might be able to do it that day, he would let me know... so we stuck around (having the hubby's windsheild replaced) and sure enough he managed to squeeze it in!!) Very impressed!! Got about 3" lift - I can't believe how different it feels to be 3" higher!! Very excited!! Next Saturday we pick up the tires.... it looks downright silly now on stock tires! should I post pics now?? whattaya think???
  23. my tape deck has John Prine in it, the CD player I think is empty, but last I remember it was the Best of the Cure.
