So... I was out front on Saturday, a nice, warm, sunny afternoon, working on cars..when a dude pulls up. he said he had bought some stuff from my bf b 4 and wondered if he would want to weld his new exhaust system for him?? So, we talk.. yada yada.. and he turns to me and says.. 'oh, btw, do you want a 1980 Chevy 4x4 for free?". If I was a dog my ears would have been at full attention. I smile and say HELL YEAH! and he tells me he took the motor out and just wants the tranny back. Ok, done deal. (upon further inspection turbo 400 tranny was fried anyhoo) We head to his house with Dave's truck n trailer... and there she was..sitting wheel high in grass...toe up from the floor up but shining with potential.. in my eyes anyway. Dave just rolled his.... men.... anyhooo.. so we loaded her up n got her home. Found she has a 205 t-case, 10 bolt front, 12 bolt rear, 4x4 and some almost brand new Bridgestone duelers.. 31x10.5x15.. just my Pathy's shoe size.. hehe. Well.. we got busy and began tearing what was left of her apart. More pics to follow soon. but, here's the link of what she looked like when we had just got her home. My plans... to build a wicked fun rock crawler, beach b!tch and general brain stomper. She will be armed with a 454, and a diamond plate bed with tubular fram around it.. cab from bf's truck (once he swaps bodies), and custom bumpers all round. The dually has D60 & 44's ..so i might steal them from my bf..hehe She is ugly now....wait til I am done.. she will be beautifully ugly!! LOL Hey..it was FREE.. what was a girl supposed to do?? (and PLEASE don't say "just say NO") Oh.. and I got the truck from the ORIGINAL owner... http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/pathy4x4/alb...hy4x4/my_photos

If your Pathfinder died, what would replace it?
Slick replied to Patrick's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders

I am all for the "kill on contact" policy.. I am not trying to cause unessesary pain and suffering.. but if you saw the ferile cats around here... you'd change your opinions. there are TONS of them, and they kick the one cat I do likes a$$ every time they come on the property.... that and they have diseases..ew...germs n stuff... but, no, I am not for suffering.. get it right the first shot indeed. And, don't worry.. PBR will never die!

unfortunately my "friendly" smog shop got busted and closed down a couple years ago. This Dec will be my first time smogging the Pathy (I bought her Sept '03 with smog cert)... I do so hate Cali for all the very EXPENSIVE laws they have here..... Oregon is looking better everyday.... then I could have my 350... and do all kinds of wicked cool stuff to her.. darn..... :contract: :furious: @ California

Just as an afterthought.. my friend works for AR.. I am in LOVE with those teflon rims...

What color 90-95 Pathfinder is the rarest to see?
Slick replied to Patrick's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
ROLMAO!!! The Cornhuskers are my FAVE college team!!! how funny! I have been a Raiders fan since I was 7..... we suck.. then we rule.... but I love them just the same regardless. :cool2: -
I have my heart set on the Calmini lift for the front of my Pathy (to go with teh JGC's in the rear)... now all I have to do is go rob a bank and get them.. I HATE being poor

Nice!! good idea!

Headline news... " 5 year old girl mourns the death of her precious kitty named Fluffy.. which she never saw cuz it was too busy out in the fields making more baby kitties"..... And yes... I AM one of those rednecks who WOULD pay $5 to shoot cats at free will.... sorry cat lovers.. this is one chick who hates them! -bounce-
-
Yeah, I saw that "kit" about 2 weeks ago.... gotta wonder why he didn't sell it then... for the price he is asking for a couple of less-than-sturdy-looking UCA's and a couple of springs.. I could get the Calmini kit (almost) and be WAY better off..... :contract:

Yes, but they can only kill cats without collars.. not that I'd check from 50 yards....

I got very excited yesterday when I saw a silver/black 2 tone 2 door.. first one ever! And.. cough... I am a raider fan..... -bounce- And!!! The sage green (my fave color!!) would look wicked good with a fade to black at the back! :cool2: -
There ya go..the hammer is your best friend..LOL. Just tell everyone it was damage from off roading! hehe

Hehehe.. The rims in the first pic that are on the Chevy... hehe.. I had those EXACT same rims on my '92 S-10 (I have a thing for 1992 year vehicles...)..they looked tight. I have 15x8 Chevy rims on my Pathy.. JGC lift..cranked torsion bars with 255/70/15's on it with no rubbing. (I have been lazy and not put on my 31's yet) ok.. I had an aftermarket fender on the PS..so I took the sawzall to it..... BUT! The DS didn't rub. Shame you don't have a program like mine where you could insert the pic of the rim on yer Pathy.. if you have a Les Schwab tires around you..they have a computer where you can pick your vehicle and rim and it will show what it looks like on the truck.. pretty cool really.... -bounce-

I feel for ya...squeaks and rattles drive me INSANE! Precise1's idea is painstaking but a very sound idea.... it may take a while, but at least you'll be able to pinpoint the noise instead of paying good $$ after bad trying to figure it out....
-
I couldn't agree more Bernard!!! It happened to me! i am a PRIME example! But, lucky... I did keep some $$ aside..just in case.....
-
June sounds schweeeet. Wooohooooooooooo!! we gettin closer to goin to play!??? yeah baby! I am gunna take her out in the back 5 this weekend fer some sloppy wet fun..try out the MM's.... -bounce-

I like that idea!!! God I hate cats..... Wonder if we can make that legal in cali??/ sssh
-
Hehehehe.... it's such a simple cure too.. just grab and turn..or..if you're lazy like me..you will have the remote control glued to your hand at all times...so you just have to hit the ^^^ button... BUT! If you really wanna know.. then check all the bushing in the front end and see if there are any worn, torn or even missing....
-
 ROLMFAO!!!!!!!!!! omg. that's great! Nope..they sure don't have a sense of humor these days.... thank you sooooooo much!!!! I really appreciate it.
