3" is way too big. The most you'll want to go is 2.5". I have 2.5" pipe, Thorley headers, high flow cats Cali- have to smog it) and a Flowmaster 50 series (3 chamber..more rumble). My Pathy rumbles....I LOVE IT!!

I checked the local junk yards and couldn't find sh!t.. so I gave up and bought mine brand new $70. ( I am kinda anal about having everything new that I replace..) Got them @ Kragen.

After Offroad, No brakes, Washed them, Shaking...?
Slick replied to a topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
I agree with all of the above. Take your wheels off and clean the brakes good. Check for any damage to e brake and rotors..check for missing wheel weights... Did you have fun though?? -
AMEN to that!!! I had a 90 Wrangler, which was in great shape (Cali)... I took care of it, but wheeled the tires off it whenever possible. Jeeps are great, but they have a HUGE downside, 1) being they are expensive to own, insurance killed me, break-in's were daily 2) I couldn't leave it for 5 minutes for the above mentioned reasons 3) I had to spend $2,000 on a 6" suspension lift and 33" tires just to go pklaces I now know my Pathy can go almost stock... I ran with the Jeep crowd, but was happy with any vehicle that tagged along out wheeling...every man for what he likes. Before I sold the Jeep (some dude made me an offer I couldn't refuse..it wasn't really for sale) I spent $4,200 on Rubicon Express parts to do a spring over... plus I bought 36" Iroks on black rock crawler rims.... I never did the SOA before I sold it, and can you imagine what I could do to my Pathy with that kind of $$$$$???? Now the Pathy is #1 in my "stable".. I have realized, thanks to these guys, just how versatile my Pathy is. I have a 4 door, great cargo hauler, does very well off road with no mods, comfy, room for more than 2.. (I took the back seat out of the Jeep)..great on road and off manners...and much cheaper on insurance, and a theif doesn't give it a second glance....hmmm.. think I couldn't be happier! (this is also my 3rd Nissan. Also, I found with a lot of Jeep owners that after 100,000 miles...the motors had a tendency to "take-a-sh!t"...that is why older Jeeps have Chevy V-8's in them..and are mostly for off road use. Pathy's on the other hand..still thrive after 300,000 miles.....do the math.... -bounce-

sssh :type: maybe we could have a NPORA version of "Pimp My Ride"??????

ROLMFAO!!!!!! I had the same "malfunction" with my oil filter relo kit.... Singapore whore.. LMAO

Although I wouldn't personally ever buy a Dodge, I do know that the older Dodge's make for some good off roaders, and are sturdy. Watch out.. Pathy's get jealous... I should know, my Pathy hated my Jeep.....

So you didn't have to modify the rims in any way to get them to fit? BTW what’s wrong with slapping on some 20's to go Sunday night cruzen? It may not be your cup of tea but I love to head out on Sunday nights and cruze the strip rollin on 20+ inches of glistening chrome. There's no doubt about it, flashy rims get's the girls’ attention every time. Although your probably not all the interested in picking chicks up since you are one. Don't get me wrong here I love getting out on those trails and mudding it up too! As for myself I like the off roading look better, but unfortunately it’s not so fly with the ladies. Well.. I like my vehicles umm.. "ugly". Not.. UGLY UGLY.. but mean ugly. Just me. No mods to fit the 15x8's... 31" tires. (I had already taken the sawzall to one fender...) I guess, because I have an inherit HATE of spinners, and I live in California..which means I see shiny chrome wherever I drive.... and I had beautiful chrome on my S-10..and do not miss cleaning it..I'm a little biased..LOL. I would LOVE to see the pics when you do put on some 20's...mebbe you could convince me it is schweeeet lookin??? Never seen a Pathy on shiny 20's... sssh I am not much into the cruising scene I must admit. I do like watching the ones who are.. kinda takes me back to my days cruising with friends. :gossip: and, if I didn't have a bf...then my Pathy (my Jeep was too) could be considered a d!ck magnet... Good luck in your endeavors.. and do what YOU want to do to your Pathy!

If your Pathfinder died, what would replace it?
Slick replied to Patrick's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
If I had to swerve off the Pathfinder road.. I would go for a 4runner...fer sure. Early to mid 90's. -
just like the guy I had to push on Easter.. he, well, his wife, just happened to own a Jeep...... 'tis the season........

It's all in good fun! I sold my beloved Jeep Wrangler last Sept..and, though I miss it for the all even suntan..I do NOT miss all the BS that came with owning one. I never had a top on it after it got knifed so they could break into it.. and the break in's continued wherever I went. Don't get me wrong, I loved my Jeep..but since I sold it and the Pathy is my #1..I only began to open my eyes to the sh!t Jeep owners talk to people who wheel what they call "inferior" vehicles. Yeah, inferior til their a$$ needs to be rescued! It is the "jeep is #1 and everyone else sucks" frame of mind in most, not all (I was one of them) Jeep owners that has caused, not just NPORA members, but a lot of people to bash (all in good fun) Jeep owners... The poor guy who needed blinker fluid, just happedned to be unfortunate that he owned a Jeep.... did any of this make sense??????? LOL -bounce-

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo jealous! I want my Calmini lift..I want my off road tires.... But! congrats that YOU got it!!

I have to agree with oilman.. if that stuff you're using hits a storm drain..then yes...that can be harmful to animals both land and sea. Now, I am not knocking a good idea, if it is used with common sense and extreme caution.

What color 90-95 Pathfinder is the rarest to see?
Slick replied to Patrick's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Good lord...that's some "come get me" yellow! I thought they only painted Chevelles and Camaros that color???????? -
I have the high flow cats with 2.5" pipes with a Flowmaster 50 series (3 chamber) muffler which rumbles. I had the muffler shop build from the cat back, and he straightened out a lot of the pipe and tucked it under real nice. they did an awesome job, and for cat back and all new pipes/muffler..it was $200. (incl labor) High flow cat is a good idea. I have to smog my Pathy. Good luck!! -bounce-

 OMG....I couldn't stop laughing!!!! That's classic!! almost peed my pants! Wish I could be a fly on the wall at the stealership when he takes it in for service!

I would KILL for the sage green or burgundy color paint. Most common color is my color blue, and then red and black. Seen a few champagne colored Pathy's..... -
