I wouldn't even give it away man, just passing along a crappy product that's gonna leave the next guy stranded. I bought a Derale unit from Jegs, MUCH better quality.

They're horrible. First one started acting funny one day when the fan got stuck on then a week later failed in bumper to bumper traffic on an extremely hot day, second one failed on the way up to the mountains, and when the third one started acting up I took it out. Usually if you smack the relay a few times it'll start working again but pretty soon they fail. I tried new relays in every one before exchanging, because that's the Schmucks policy so the unit it's self is going bad.

Yeah, the older trucks with the blue interior had mainly dark blue plastic with light blue trim. They never made a completely dark blue interior. I'm surprised this wasn't mentioned before, I thought it was and even then on my truck it'll all be black... sorry I didn't say anything earlier!

I took a few pictures of the light blue pillar trim piece from my '88 but it looks completely light grey outside of the truck, not light blue at all. Is the light blue code B or is it the regular dark blue? My buddy's got a good camera I'll snag for a bit, hopefully it picks up the color properly.

X3 on Permatex Ultra Grey. Cheap-ish, great consistency, easy to remove, and it's not offensive to see unlike red or blue. I've never thought about using any kind of sealant on the plates but it's actually a good idea... sometimes getting the plates to line up to run bolts through can be a pain in the ass.

Well they're certainly way uglier but they aren't even really any nicer. Top of the line Pathfinder trim is just as nice as the Infiniti's.

I sit on my tire carrier all the time when it's open and even back when I weighed 185LBS it didn't flinch. Hell I've jumped up and down on it, when it was open, as hard as I could before. They're stout.

Two options. Pull the transmission back/out or pull the differential OUT. Gone. Remove from vehicle. The bolts aren't brittle but the sumo wrestlers at Nissan sure did a good job of getting them TIGHT. Add corrosion and rust, they can really suck to get out. Penetrating oil would be smart.

Spent almost all of today finishing up the wiring harness. Lots and lots of soldering, moving things around, and wrapping.

A thing of neon orange fingernail polish, q-tips, a few throw away eyeliner brushes, and tweezers.

Pulling the transmission first is the key there. If you don't, you HAVE to remove the front diff. There is no way around it.

Volvos use the same MAF clip but they are push release from the factory and much better built than the stock Nissan ones. There are tons of free clips to choose from in the junk yards.

I've taken a couple Pathy gas tanks out and in both cases there was a ton of crap in the bottom of the tank. It's not an automotive myth. Older metal tanks start to release some sediment, plastic tanks don't though. Hell I cleaned a plastic main tank from a '77 Ford Hi-Boy and it was almost completely clean in there, definitely not enough to worry about. The secondary metal tank was a disaster.

Nice Garret. When I did mine it felt like I picked up about 10-15HP. Noticeable difference for sure. Love the pics and info on the injectors, good stuff man. Psst. Mine will still sound better Have you looked in to the fuel pump relay mod to get rid of the variable voltage?

Ebay is fine, as long as you, the buyer, are smart enough to tell the difference between good and bad products. If you're a dummy that buys cheap crappy Chinese BS on there, then that's your own fault.

Blue smoke on start up is the valve seals leaking a little allowing oil to leak in to the cylinders over night. Not a big deal really. Water, normal. Answered your own question. Condensation and years of build up can be messy sometimes.

Washed it. Got all of the moss, algae, growing plants, and pounds of pine needles off of it. Sure is a pretty paperweight!

I've been hit in the rear of my '87 at almost 50MPH. It took that big of a hit to rupture the tank, which of course was JUST filled. The tank is pretty safe where it is.

If it does it at full lock and a bumpy turn, it's the steering stop rubbing against the metal control arm. Some grease and the problem is solved, or you can find and buy the original nylon caps that cover the stop. Over time they disintegrate.
