  1. It was just a thought that I wrote out...sheeeshhh...
  2. PO musta cleaned mine out, took a quick look and it was clean, barely anything at all. And there was a .22 bullet back there
  3. 35s seem to me to be a lot of weight to have come slamming into your fender well, with no frame for the impact to be disbursed. I can see the mounts for the shocks and what not being punched through the floor after some time of abuse... Just my
  4. If I fill up, just when the quarter tank needle starts to move, I can put in 16 gallons of fuel. I get 190 miles out of 3/4 tank of gas.
  5. Thud noise when the starter first engages? When the engine is turning over (one thud per rotation)? Once the engine catches and runs on it's own? Repetitive thuds? As far as the engine light goes, I didn't think our early years even had one. There should be 4 on the main cluster, oil light, brake light, seatbelt light, and battery light. Then below there's a transmission temp light, defrost, 4x4 light, and 2 cruise control lights. Which light is coming on? Any differences in power, engine note, smoothness?
  6. It won't run unless the vacuum lines are plugged, as with most vacuum lines.
  7. Those wheels on some of those things are sexy as hell
  8. I thought these had a 21 gallon tank?
  9. I put my AB valve back on (had the vacuum lines plugged though) and it starts up fine now... Who'da thunk it?
  10. A lug nut on the driver's front has been missing on mine since long before I bought it. The stud is rusted and somewhat deformed. No problems
  11. Getting spark, and getting fuel, but not running...
  12. SilverPath, a quick question, where in Vancouver are you? Clutch fan sounds very suspect to me too...
  13. I can feel it in the floorboards, the pedal, a groaning noise
  14. How does this happen? I don't see how tire companies can make a tire measure bigger than what's actually there...
  15. Full throttle from a stop mine feels like there's a lot of tension somewhere, like something is twisting on take off. It's hard to explain.
  16. You can check your codes yourself instead of wasting $100...
  17. That's all the first thing I did over a month ago. It would be nice if it went away, but it isn't hurting anything...it just raises my curiosity sometimes
  18. At idle with the air cleaner and everything off I can hear mine whistling.
  19. I think mounting any electronic on the floor is a stupid, stupid idea if you wheel and go through water. Ahem, ECU UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT, NISSAN!
  20. I mounted mine to the back of my sub box
  21. Thanks man, but that's not possible ATM. I reeeeeaaaaaaalllyyyy wish it was. My mom works city corporate construction, and that's slowed down so she's laid off, my dad's a Longshoreman but because of the economy he's barely working, and I'm turning in 5-10 applications a week. I've pretty much decided I'm just going to keep saving up and keep driving this one till it drops and buy another Pathfinder. Probably for parts for this one, or if it's nice enough visa versa. I've already put almost 30 hours of labor in for the tranny I'm getting, so it's too late to get rid of the truck now. Well, maybe I could sell the new tranny or something, since the one that's in it now is operating perfectly fine. That and all the other work that I've done to it, I really don't want to see it go... I love this thing, and it's awesome when it's running right. BUT it is an aging 21 year old truck that was abused to high hell from the PO and it gets driven A LOT. I bought it at 194,050 and it now has 203,400. In 8 months. But I have had bad luck with it, that's for sure. Stupid ricer hitting me, hitting that curb. 2 people have almost hit me in the past week, each one a near miss. I swear I have a target on my back. If I was really motivated, there's a FULL front axle assembly for $250 on Craigslist. Diff, axles, everything. From an '88
  22. Diff leak, yeah. This has been going on for over a month now.
