Thanks man, but that's not possible ATM. I reeeeeaaaaaaalllyyyy wish it was. My mom works city corporate construction, and that's slowed down so she's laid off, my dad's a Longshoreman but because of the economy he's barely working, and I'm turning in 5-10 applications a week.
I've pretty much decided I'm just going to keep saving up and keep driving this one till it drops and buy another Pathfinder. Probably for parts for this one, or if it's nice enough visa versa.
I've already put almost 30 hours of labor in for the tranny I'm getting, so it's too late to get rid of the truck now. Well, maybe I could sell the new tranny or something, since the one that's in it now is operating perfectly fine. That and all the other work that I've done to it, I really don't want to see it go...
I love this thing, and it's awesome when it's running right. BUT it is an aging 21 year old truck that was abused to high hell from the PO and it gets driven A LOT. I bought it at 194,050 and it now has 203,400. In 8 months.
But I have had bad luck with it, that's for sure. Stupid ricer hitting me, hitting that curb. 2 people have almost hit me in the past week, each one a near miss. I swear I have a target on my back.
If I was really motivated, there's a FULL front axle assembly for $250 on Craigslist. Diff, axles, everything. From an '88
