IN that case I'd go rent one somewhere. Cheap and if you'll never use one regularly, saves you the money and you'll be working with a good wrench.

x2. I've broken multiple POS cheap Harbor Freight torque wrenches. You'll end up spending more in replacing the cheap one then just buying one good wrench. And you'll save yourself the hassle.

Take it back in and have them re-balance the wheels, tell them that you just had it done earlier but it's still shaking. They should not charge you for that. That's just to be 100% sure it isn't wheel balance. If it only does it intermittently then it would be unlikely that it's the balance of the wheels. I would suspect the wheel bearings like Nunya said to be the issue.

My old front end nuts/bolts with 22 years of attachment time on them broke loose with nothing more than a 1/2" drive socket and a bar over the handle, which most of the time wasn't even necessary. The penetrating oil you use will be key for removing the sticky ones.

Almost every 94-95 Pathfinder I went and drove at various dealerships had faulty tachometers. Either they bounced around when driving or they just sat at 0. Very annoying...

Oh nice. When you first get into the central area where you're actually at the power line structures, have you been to the far right trail that heads off right next to the power line structure? I've only been straight and left once you get to the main opening. You've followed the trail that goes straight ahead from the road that takes you in right? The one that leads to the big red pit like you can see in my pictures?

I drove my old '87 with much of the same characteristics, if not more (likely) for 20,000 miles and didn't have any problems. Just a thought as to how much money you want to throw into it for what real gain?

It doesn't hurt to try. Most junk yards only charge a buck for dash switches, at least around here. If it doesn't work then you're only out a few bucks.

At Les Schwab we got a ton of the tires and rims from the CFC cars from dealerships around here. Just from looking at the wheels, there were some very nice rigs. The LE wheels (the big ones) from the 02+ R50s, Land Rover Discovery wheels, Jeep wheels, various WD21 and R50 wheels, Mustang wheels, etc. It made me sick. And we only got about 1/4 of the way through the whole batch, Metro Metals is going to be bringing more. Which is weird to me. The dealerships sent the CFC cars to Metro Metals to be crushed, so they sent us the wheels and tires to dismount. We give them the rims back so they can make even more money, but we have to PAY $10 per good used tire, and then junk the rest. That's bullsh!t. We have to pay to fill our back parking lot full of stacks of tires and scrap bins and run around like a bunch of banshees trying to get the tires dismounted and then keep up with the regular customers!

Yes a small sub in the rear hatch WILL work out fine with no problems and WILL last a very long time, so long as you install it correctly and use some wood for bracing behind the plastic panel.

That red interior is disgusting, though it is clean. I picked up my near mint '88 for $2000. $4500 is an out of this world price.
