So I TRIED to insatll a lift with some friends over this weekend. The hubs were super easy and took all of a hour total, and they make the pathy glide, and roll alot better. The rear was not too bad, the one major problem that we ran into was with the bumb stops. When backing out the bolt, it decided to snap half way out. Keep in mind that the coil was still on at the time. Anyways we had to get off the coil and drill out the rest of the bolt, and re-tap and thread it so we could reinstall it with all new harward. That took us an extra hour to accomplish Anyways then we bolted back on the new shock ect on the back. Next we went onto the front. Tis where we started to run into the major problems. I dont know how Nissan managed to get those damn bolts that hold on the bottom of the strut so damn tight? We broke 2 yes 2 torque wrenches trying to take off the bolts, and even tried using a breaker bar, but no beans. Next we tried to use the impact wrench, and even all those 350 ft/lbs of torque could not get that bolt loose. So then we tried heating it and even that didnt work. So in the end we wound up just leaving the front struts ect. stock. Im going on monday to 4wheel parts and they said that they would install it for cheap, saves me the hassle, and the breaking of tools here are some pics Stock height Rear lift

Yeah im going back to school in two weeks and Alex has not completed the sub-frame lift yet (but it was all explained, and no worries) Im installing the 2 inch AC lift and im buying some used 32 BFG AT's with only about 2k miles on them from a friend, and that supposed to last me untill summer when the lift will be going on along with new wheel and tires, thus voiding the warranty. On top of all that my parents are moving and leaving this house the week after i lave again for school, and they dont want me driving from texas to cali, so the pathy is sadly going to be locked up in storage for the summer
-
Well what I have been been told is that alex is running 33x 12.5 km2's on a 15 inch wheel with 3.75- 4 inch backspace. But alex said that if you run a AT you should technically be able to run a 35 if its low enough Dont Quote me on any of that

So Im finally putting on my lift on thursday, and I was wondering in terms of wheel alignment what the best option is. Im getting 32x10.5 bfg all terrains and I also have the camber bolts that came with my lift. I called around and found that the best price for 1 alignment is 69 bucks, but Firestone offers lifetime alignment for 149. So my question is those of you with lifts, how does the pathy hold its alignment after a lift? Is it worth the extra money to get the lifetime alignment, keeping in mind that im getting more lift soon, and it will most likely be void after that.
-
I might be interested, Im putting on my lift soon and if I dont get my sub frame drop in time I will just be putting on the AC 2 inch lift and if it doesnt sit level then I might wind up messaging u for those spacers of yours!!

How did you print your own? Is it something that I could accomplish at home? Any special supplies needed?
-
Is it worth putting money into her?
01silvapathy replied to RonNC's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Yes there is a kit that you can buy, prices vary from about 560 to 800 plus, depending on the quality of the lift you get. But check out the pinned thread at the top of the page of topics, you will find all of the information you need there. And here is a liink to the main supplier for all your nissan needs- Automotive Customizers https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/index.php?...h=435_437_341_8 -
