  1. Does your rake look like this? This was TrailChaser's.

    I would ride around with weight in the back to see if it wears down a tad. The low profiles were like half an inch. TrailChaser machined these spacers so he could get alignment in with the increased height up front.   2. Got the crank in and got some measurements for the bearings. Times like this I wished I had a bore gauge. Rods look good but I'm concerned about the mains. 1 and 4 are within range loose specifically 0.051 but 2 and 3 are out at 0.078 limit is 0.090 so I'm good in that aspect.

     

    I'm wondering if it's because I'm not getting a good torque reading with me doing it upside down. Also number 4 bearings were stuck (snug fit) to the crank when I removed it.

  3. My rear right body mounted cracked and ripped when I put my pathfinder on it's side. I welded up what I could back there together and i plan on welding in the frontmost right body mount bracket after I fix my motor. I currently do not have a bracket up front which is causing my fender to sag and rip off the body.

  4. Spent the last hour or so trying to muscle in thr crank and girdle from under the truck with no luck. Im not sure how accurate of plastigage doing the reverse method. Going to try again and use some cambuckle straps to suspend the crank in the air.

  5. I did something similar and took some bilsteins for a Chevy truck and drilled out the sleeves larger. To do it right, you'll need to press the sleeve out and drill it. Or maybe you can find a Machine friend make you some new sleeves. Other option is to cut the stock shock stud off and weld in thr right size stud for your new shocks.

  6. A lot of the guys here run the Smittybilt winches. Fast spooling and great no questions asked warranty. I have the HF 12k used for a price you'd be stupid to pass up. It's slow and I have only used it to respool using the rear hitch. I'll build a bumper when I get the engine and transmission in order again.
