  1. thats funny, when I went to a high flow cat I lost my heated driver seat option.(I think it was pretty cloged)
  2. I think that sounds about right. mine felt pretty pathetic gettin above 80 before I did my full exhaust. still feels weak up there but not near as bad. and 300ish to a tank sounds about right. I usually fill @ about 1/2 tank and lookin' 140-160 (depending on if most those miles were super slow military base speeds or higway/normal town driving)

    New rims

I think any rim wider that 8.5 is allot of stress on IFS and its wheel bearings.
  4. My 89XE came stock with 31x10.50 and thats whats been run on it for the past 18 years or so. The 1st gens are somwhat lacking in power but I think yours sounds little extreme. I drove my friends 93se automatic once and it seemd to be more lacking than mine I assume is had issues because I can't imagine the A/T would be that much slower. Anyway I cannot pinpont the issue for you but If you are thinking about exhaust mods there is a wealth of magnaflow cats on ebay for cheap right now (about $80) Search part # "22760" in ebay motors It may come up listed for another vehcle but it will bolt up to yours. borla makes a catback exhaust that also bolts right up or you could have a muffler shop swap your factory muffler for a higer flowing muffler (i prefer magnaflow) for about 150 out the door. those things will help but before all that I reccomend a good tune that includes chainging your cap, rotor, pugs and wires. a worn cap and rotor can cut the power of your spark down dramatically and thus weaken performance and the rest just promotes good couductivity. If that hasnt been done in a while you could likely restore 10 hp hope this helped
  5. i think summit racing and autoanyting sell Thorley headders (I love mine) and I think Pacesetters can be found almost anywhere. I think those are your only options.
  6. I doubth that some cheap wire feed is being used to make these. If it is wired feed Its prolly a nice MIG welder that uses a flow of argon or helium gass to produce superior oxygen free welds. But more likely, for strength purposes while using thick metal, they are using a High amp arc welder or possibly even a TIG welder. Our new (non hydraulic) tubing machine here at my work was a few thousand dollars and getting the bends right (no rinkles or flat spots) does not exactly come easy to everyone. and our hydraulic machine was over a grand just to have somone come in and fix it. I'm not saying that the prices don't seem high, I'm just saying that it may not exactly be that simple.
  7. well good luck finding a pathy, hopefully in better shape (and better luck) than the other one. Maybe you'll get really lucky like pathmaker1 when he got his pathmakerII. take care!
  8. ah so we have seen a decent exeption to the 3+3=33 rule! the paint job is awesome good score man!
  9. are they really? DOH! I just plain threw away my old clogged one when I got my high flow. how much did I miss out on?
  10. ok, time to get really simple. grille/ brush guard on ebay (chrome) I will fit your pathy and its less than $200 (shipping included) If you don't like chrome than try this one Its black and tougher looking for just under $300 (shipping included) your pathy can be less naked. hope that helped
  11. replying to myself lol I compared SC and N/A Frontiers and Exteras on KBB.com the listed MPG differances are only about a mile. N/A Frontier 16-18 SC Frontier 15-18 N/A Extera 15-19 SC Extera 15-18
  12. What does 1/5" BL mean? (can't be one fith lol) how much BL and susp did it take for it to have those 33's on it? nice score dude?
  13. wow thanks for the run-down zbeck! that twin turbo pathy looks crowded as hell (hates crammed engine bays). so with proper manifolds, upgraded injectors, pulley set-up and SC parts it looks like it can be done right? Is there anykind of boost control or blow-off required for a supercharger? How will the ECU react? How will your MPG's be Impacted? anyone know MPG's of a VG33e vs VG33ER (SC fronter vs N/A frontier)?
  14. I think I heard somwhere that the VG33ER supercharger will bolt to A VG30e. Hopefully all you have to figure out is the pulley, boost control (possibly steal from xterra) and maybe some piggy back, modified or differant ecu that knows what to do with that boost(more air & fuel etc.) I'm chanting "doo it! doo it! doo it!" right now so good luck!
  15. /\Haha 1st one up! shes right! <too early going back too bed \/next up!
  16. /\ should come drink with us ( can be really funny as long as you can laugh @ yourself and not be offended) <seperated drunk "new guy" and drunk wifes best friend after "new guy" kept shutting door on my guest room \/assures me I did the right thing to protect the (nearly passed out) girl {srry if I don make sense the intervention & this post happened while drunk[last one awake]}
  17. /\Good CALL < got an extra 1/2 day (still not enough lol) \/ agrees its almost never long enough
  18. /\ hopefully right (but doubtful) <50/50 chance will be "reqired" to attend a picnic instead of attending work \/wishes they had an "alternate duty location"
  19. I work with composites here for aircraft; carbon, arimids (kevlar), fiberglass, phenolics... to name a few. In solid form: (as in bumpers and non-flexible products like bulletvests) altho light weight they do not like sharp edges and dynamic loads (impact) the 2 things I'm sure these bumpers will encounter most. Some of them can be made more flexible than others so they don't break so easily but it they flex too much they might "beak" on the inside and show no wear on the outside and then completely fail the next time you really need its protection. I'm not trying say compotes are bad cause they can be great in the right place and conditions but the above stated, the high cost and the equipment needed for production are the short version of why I think not to use it for an offroad bumper.
  20. /\MEH <bored @ work \/already off work
  21. I thought we were talking about grilles not grille guards. I think there's some grille guards on ebay for pathfinders and hardbodies
  22. /\ blames misundersanding on others not caring < listens but doesn't always understand \/understands but doesn't listen
  23. /\ Inspired me to Google it <hopes My kids won't come out like that \/ changes subject
  24. I you search I beilve people have used the "phantom grill" of the older hardbodies. This requires switing to sealed beam lights or trimming the grille to fit the pathy lights. The pahtfinder 87-89 and the 90-95 are interchangeable and my 89s prolly gonna get a 90-95 here soon. Been running the fully coustom wire mesh and zip-tie grille for a bit lol
