check ecu.. the constant light on the dash could be because of your alt going bad... the symptoms you describe remind me of a bad connection/loose wire somewhere behind the cluster.. oh and ouch.. that's one long winded sentence there buddy...
  6. on MXO pinoy has one.. i am sure he would snap a pic for you.. just ask or even possibly search for a thread with a very similar title
  7. i have been on a lookout for that guy for a bit and no luck thus far.. will call buddy who hopefully has one..
  8. thanks mr.pickles.. actually that's the next thing i am going to do with the fog but i actually have a stock switch i want to use to run my off-road lights and was wandering how it is set up.. thanks for both comments.. where is a good spot to tap into (the parking lights power/circuit) ???
  9. well, part of the problem here is that i couldn't find shorty to adjust the shoe spreader enough... i got it to a point where i can barely get the drums on.. but the hand brake is still very loose... i'll have to check underneath tomorrow for that part.. thanks.
  10. is there any way to adjust the hand brake? it seems to be a bit not tight enough.. i thought after i did the shoes it would tighten up but no deal.. doesn't seem to hold my truck too well on an incline.. thanks
  11. bumper seems to work ok but the lights impede the grill removal.. i had to take the bumper (and skirt) off (pita!)
  12. hey any idea what each wire at the switch is? purple, yellow, green
  13. yeah a bit of pita.. more time consuming then anything... i think there are a few threads about this on here.. you have to take off the caliper and undo the bjs then undo the cv axles.. not too bad but i had a heck of a time separating the join on one of the axles.. good luck, diy and save the money.. better get started now.. you should be able to do it in a few hours..
  14. ecu codes? as to the belt.. if it was old that surely could happen
  15. also, where did you guys get the mounting bracket? i could use 2 or 3 of them
  16. how much of the wire did you have to use? nice pix btw. thanks.. this project is coming up..
  17. good advice pickles.. k9 got you covered on the other stuff.. if it has a wobble while driving it's the center link and possibly ball joints.. otherwise, all fluid changes, and a tune up..
  18. that's my guess, but most of them are illuminated..
  19. shouldn't really be any problem.. i have ran one of my cars for years without the electical fan working..
  20. lol.. super cheap auto 1000... hahahaham
  21. i am pretty sure 88 explained it all pretty clearly up front of this thread.. jeez..
  22. i'd dump fluid before you install the new lines. you'll probably loose it all anyway but i wouldn't want old/nasty fluid in my brand new lines..
