Some before and 1 after(still not done) of my frame fix. Costing me a fortune but I'm having someone better qualified than me do it because, I was worried about the pathy going down the road straight and holding together off road.

That's funny, Just logged in and saw that someone had beat me up around 10 times, Then sent me $101,000.00 I now have enough money for the National fab shop(1500 will bar) Should I use my 30 will bottles to boost my stats now?

That Utube video was kinda funny but there's nothin' funny about some a-hole cutting off your converter. 45 seconds is freaking fast. When it happened to me my Pathfinder was sitting at a small used car dealership, on a busy 4 lane road with houses not 20 feet away. They got 10-15 vehicles on the lot all in 1 night. Don't see how that cage would have stopped them. No way they did all those by hand. Obviously used a Sawzall. Asked a few people who'd know, why nobody heard the noise. They told me that if you use a sharp blade and keep it tight against the pipe it's really quiet Had to have a universal welded in because they also took the flanges off the other pipe. Happens again I'm going to run without a converter and when the FEDs come for me "TOP A DA WORLD MA!!!! "

I agree they do get Xtreme when it comes to high dollar mods, But that's why they didn't call it " IN YOUR DRIVEWAY WITH A MONKEY WRENCH 4X4" The Suzuki Samurai they're doing is pretty low buck, using Toy axles,lower transfer case gears and a VW diesel swap. if I'm remembering right they went with a coil conversion,EXO cage Could save a lot of money by using YJ leaf springs over axle and no EXO cage. I watch it to get ideas and Jessi, love a girl who wrenches. (Waiting on my Slicks fan club member #)

I carefully read every one of these posts....WOW! Did I miss something? Has he made good? No new posts since Dec.2 The sites still up and PAYPAL is still accepting money The second a penny gets sent to his account it should immediately go to the people that have a claim against him. And if he hasn't made good the NPORA logo should not be on his site... Isn't that like an endorsement of L&P's products? NPORA logo should be a copy-write..... right? What other options? 1. Junk it and buy another one in a salt free state? This I think, would cost me more in the long run. Loose my initial investment and spend more money/time traveling. 2. Find a solid frame and switch it? Have the tools/knowledge but absolutely no time or space. plus finding a good frame and gettin' it here would also cost. 3. Find someone to do it cheaper? This guy is the best in the area and I trust him to do it right. (got my fingers crossed) Plan on lifting it and actually taking it off road so I don't want 1/2 assed. Besides,I like the cool dark blue color of this one Pictures comin' soon

Since mine was SawZaLLed off in the middle of the night. I don't have the stock mounting flanges I also definitely don't want to replace the front an center pipe so I can't go with stock. Need a cheap universal fit. Summit Racing (right down the road from me, so no shipping) has the Magna Flow Universal fit Round body 2.00 in Die/2.00 out Dia. Part # MPE-53004CA for $63.95 Is this the right one for my '95 SE? Better/cheaper one out there somewhere else?

Finally got an estimate from the shop today. (made the mistake of telling them I wanted it done right the 1st time and I wasn't in a hurry) Cost $2000.00+tax Time 1 week More than I expected, But since I really do want it done right the 1st time. I told him O.K. He had a '94 in the shop that someone had tried to patch with plates. Didn't last, So he was having to cut all that out and redo it. Want to try and prevent this from happening again. Should I have him put "drain" holes in the bottom of the frame? How about a spot where I can shove a hose in to pressure wash it out? What would you guys recommend doing to the new rear frame? Undercoat? Paint with POR 15? Anything else I'm forgettin'

Sorry It was me, Didn't mean to dig up old bones. Got curious after reading the other posts about how you felt the WD21 font end was ugly. I enjoy a friendly frivolous debate and if the WD21's front end is ugly or not is pretty dang frivolous.

It's no Lambragini but I really like the look of the WD21. The body shape is what attracted me to buy the pathfinder in the first place. Know it's sacrilege, but it reminds me of the Toyota FJ 60 I remember when I bought my Suzuki Samurai. Love at 1st sight. I just knew Suzuki purpose built it for rough terrain. Get the same feeling when I look at a WD21, Sure it's no Patrol either but Nissan also built it for tough terrain and that's a beautiful thing. Plus I'm older and now and can also apreciate that it has quite a few creature comforts my Sami didn't. I call it my poor man's Range Rover.

Excuse my stupidity .... But why can't you do anything with the R50? Just because it's a Unibody? or is it just because of the piss poor after market support for Nissan 4x4s? Lot's of Cherokees and Grand Cherokees with unibodies have solid axle front ends and are running 35"+ tires. lot's of Toyota's with IFS runnin' arouind with 33'+ also

Read that article. The pathfinder would probably not be Nissans 1st choice for that test. But only new or revised models could compete. Not sure but the Xterra has probably not changed much if at all in the last few years. Nissan should at least offer an off-road package. 3 kits on E-bay right now for around $25.00

Just starting out (gravelessghost) and addicted already, Got a little problem though........ I have a high lift jack(equipped) and a shovel but when I HIT THE TRAIL, Game says I don't have a trail tool and it takes forever to just FLOOR IT. Do I need a certain amount of experience or something else to use my highlift? Thanks Dave

Aren't Ya glad Ya didn't junk it? Just looked in my Haynes manual. They make it sound pretty easy to change, just need 2 hydraulic jacks and hand tools/torque wrench.
