mzxtreme, a HoA has no lawmaking power... what can they do to you? If they attempt to make life hell, get a restraining order and sue them on grounds of harrassment.
-
I'd tell him if he wants you to buy a new truck, he can damn well pay for it. HoA's are worthless and, in reality, have NO POWER AT ALL. They have no jurisdiction beyond attempting to make life miserable. Just ignore em.
-
Ah... hm. That could be an issue to say the least XD
-
What's the real difference?
-
Mine never goes away from it's spot between the 1/4 mark and the 1/2 mark, no matter what the driving conditions are... even when it's very cold, it stays right there... just takes long as HELL to get there...

My truck has the typical "cancer" in the rear panels near the tire wells and on the one rear quarterpanel... and it's pretty advanced. One hole is about golf ball sized with corrosion at least three inches around it, the other is at least a fist sized hole with the corrosion not extending as far out. My question - I'm taking an OxyAcetalyn course this semester and plan to take a Tig/Mig welding course next semester. My lab instructor IS WILLING to let me fix the truck in the shop... but I can't bring the whole truck in. What would be the easiest way to go about removing these panels, and what kind of steel should I use to fab with? I have some pictures to take and post, so I'll explain more once I've done that.

How much you want for it?

People like that are the kind I'd love to meet... it's why I train in martial arts, swordsmanship, and am trained in the use of most pistols. A little paranoid? Maybe... but when it comes to my family, I WILL exercise my right to defend myself. First shot goes thru the kneecap... you keep trying to come after us, second shot goes thru the head.

Uh... won' the CEL go out after 2 good checks from the O2 Sensor?
-
Trak, the fuel pump in my pathy barely spins up at all. I think it has a few deciding factors on how long it takes to presurize the line.
-
Chris, care to do a write up for that? My big fear, as always - I'm inexperienced and she is my daily driver. I fskc her up, I can't go to work (or anywhere) till I have her towed to a shop and fixed
-
Not to be a thread necro, but my truck has this issue... I'd bet it's the bushings. Question though - Poly or Rubber? Advantages of either? And how hard is this to fix?
-
Why not simply waterproof the ECU with a lockbox and, when at risk for deep water, close the box? It can take the heat for a little, can't it?
-
Go and, if they fire you, bring em to court for everything their worth, then flip em the bird as you find a new, better job... Family First bro.
-
I'm so f***ing tempted to buy this... but I don't know if I could figure out the problem with it... it'd be a great wedding gift for my fiance (she wants a pathy) Can we see some pictures of it Natura?
-
I'm partially tempted to do a dual snorkel setup with dual airboxes / plate filters. It'd give good filtration but increase airflow... right?
-
Stupid question... are these cone air intakes really that much more effective than your standard air intake box? And I'm assuming if I go with a cone (running a K&N drop in filter atm) I can completely remove the airbox, right?

The idea here, UCCPath, is that an internal combustion engine operates at aboutt 8-10% efficiency at best. Burning HHO can help increase the efficiency because creating HHO is a HIGHLY efficient process. You, basicly, turn a little bit of pure electricity, taken from reserves left on the alternator, thus not putting MUCH more strain on it or the engine, and turning it into small to mid sized amounts of hydrogen via electrolysis. The HHO helps MPG by taking the place of some amount of gasoline, and also by burning far cleaner AND more completely, thus reducing the amount of power lost in the exhaust stroke. This, in turn, helps the engine clean itself of debris, as well as, potentially, clear the exhaust system up a bit. Now you have a better airflow, around 15-17% burning efficiency if not more, AND you are using less actual gasoline to do it. All at, maybe, a 1-2% loss of efficiency at the Alternator. That is still a gain of 7-10% efficiency, maybe more depending on how well built the alternator is and how much (or how little) strain it puts on the engine. If you have a larger alternator that doesn't need to use 100% of it's possible output, you'd have a higher gain. The more cells you run, the more gasoline you can replace (to an extent) and the higher your gains. The thing is, you have to find the perfect balance of HHO based on RPM, which changes drasticly in city driving compared to the rather steady RPM of highway driving. I'm going to look into this more... this might be a very good idea, especially if we upscale it a bit.

So far it looks promising... which site did you buy the system from?

Contest it If it's a radar / ladar speed trap, those damn guns have clocked stationary objects doing 40+... they have, at minimum, a +/- 10 MPH variance. My mother was in training with our local police force before she finished her degree in music ed and became a music teacher. It's stupid how they use those radar guns if they are that terribly inaccurate. From what I recall, they alone are not now enough in court for a ticket to hold - the officer must have tagged you a second method, usually by following behind you for a while. As for checking the speedo - I'm not entirely sure how that'd be done. Wouldn't a stealership have to test that for you?

Stupid question - what's the difference between an SAS and a 3 link SAS?
-
Aighty, I had thought that, if nothing more, the extreme amount of rising hot air cooling in the upper atmosphere would increase the humidity at altitude enough for such a plan... but yeah, then the mudslides and chit... bah. You know what... fskc it. Someone get a bunch of chinooks and drop a glacier on it J/K of course... but there has to be some way to help contain these beasts...
-
Well... I was wondering about something... But I dont' know if it's at ALL feasible... using Dry Ice pellets to seed the clouds and force it to rain. I know it requires certain conditions but... with that kind of convection, what's the humidity like?

I currently work in a butchers shop... heh...

I realized fires could jump hundreds of feet, wasn't aware it was miles. My plan for the MOAB was just to create a large fire line. Here's a question for you - if the firefighters COULD get in and attack the fire, would it make a difference? Or would the intense heat cause any direct attempt to fail?
