  1. that’s hawt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. thank you!! i lined up their drilled holes with stock holes in the bumper for placement and just love it. you should totally throw some lights there, when i had the grill out i had them in the bolt holes that i lined them up with later and the recessed/not sticking out farther than the grill did look was also cool. just wanted stuff not keep getting stuck in my radiator while the grill wasnt there so i ended up putting it back lol. i’ve had one hell of a time aiming them though lol. they’re either just above highbeam or fogs but they’re brighter than highbeam level bright at least Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. same ones i have love em Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. i have yet to take pictures but have managed to blow my struts completely finally. at least driverside left. so it’s time to change them out and after consulting[mention=40517]Bax03SE[/mention] on their front setup i’ve decided to do the same and net my lift from the springs instead of spacers. i think i’m taking both one inch spacers out because the spring set up i’m going with should give me 2.5” lift just as i do now but on fresh struts and much heavier duty springs. speedywaymotors.com for the non amazon order Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk edit to remind that his set up utilized the top spacers as well and he needed a sfd to counter the angles. i’m keeping my spacers off the top until the rear is worn and i want to go higher and do the sfd. bc of-course gotta do that at some point- just not yet. i want to see how happy i am after i get not blown struts and coils up front. would also appreciate input on bracket designs for front and rear bumpers. sometime around my birthday in june i’m trading stick welder for my fathers mig that i’m better at using as he is better with the stick. lol
  5. finally got the chance to do the missing link ! my pipe turned out to be steel as well. used my hand sledge and hammered the ends flat and drilled holes. the 1” flattened out to 2” so i had to grind some away. for once things went smoothly. i also painted the grill black and put it back on and moved my lights down. pics in the morning weather permitting. i would’ve tonight but it’s dark lol. 6. i can’t wait until i get the chance to get out. i’m up in sussex county and have the trails in stokes state forest to play in. it’s not crazy but good fishing spots off some of them too and beautiful scenery. i’m so jealous lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. finished the cvs today and the manual hubs. such a relief now that that’s done. hell of a lot easier with the new impact gun. now i need more time to finish the damn lca brace. i also relocated my knock sensor to the front of the engine with a 2001 altima sensor and connector. break the black outside of the connector so you just have the prongs and it fits up to the connector we have on ours, the light blue. i mounted it in the front center of the motor using a longer bolt above a coolant hose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. finally relocated that knock sensor. used one with a harness from 2001 altima. you have to break the plastic off the altima’s jack but the prongs fit just the same. no more knock sensor code now. i used one of the coolant line bolt holes and just used a longer flanged bolt. 9. that’s what i was thinking? i would be more concerned if there were twisting forces on the brace but they don’t move like that. either way you’re right it’s better than nothing and i’ve put it off too long now i just can’t wait to do it finally. if i notice stress fractures or bends i’ll replace it and if i flex a little and look and see it’s bending more than i’d like id also replace it but until then it’ll be good. [emoji1360] i appreciate the input! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. i had some 1” tubing lying around so i figured i’d use that. have not gotten to it yet as i’m still working on those axles due to rain [emoji24] it also occurred to me the tube might be aluminum and not steel like i thought. i’m gonna need a magnet to find out i suppose. i know people use smaller conduit and such so i wonder if this is in fact aluminum if it would be strong enough. i even have some 1.5 and 2” lying with it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. holy crap i’ve broken three 12 mm sockets and bent my 12 mm wrench on these cv bolts ... waiting for a friend to come give me a ride so i can buy a damn impact gun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. yeah it followed the tire so i contacted amazon and we are going to exchange tires now. after it followed the tire i figured it just that badly out of round and is therefore defective so amazon covered me! it’ll be here wednesday so we will know for sure that day or by the weekend definitely. in other news i’ll be installing my hubs, new extra lights (while also possibly figuring out a way to mount the original fogs on the old bumper), relocating the knock sensor to the front of the engine, and installing my lca brace as soon as i finish pounding the ends flat lol. that and if i have time MORE PAINT AND RUST REMOVAL big day tomorrow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. i take it back on the balance beads. still feel a shudder in the steering wheel when above 55-60. i ended up getting my rear left balanced regularly because i could see the slight wiggle while driving which persists even still. i only see it on the rear left and it’s not the bearing as there’s no play in the wheel when i jack it up And i don’t see it in the front tires even with the steering shudder at high speeds. so i’m lost on this one, any ideas? 14. thanks for setting us straight!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. you mean lr9447s right? they’re the land rover springs that go with the 2” lift you have. you should get ahold of bump stops off an f250 that’s what i’ve read a lot of others doing after getting the longer shocks. you also need to check to make sure your diff breather tube and brake lines are okay at full flex at that point. also welcome to NPORA!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. thank you!! i love them so far, you barely hear them and that’s unheard of for mud tires. while they are slightly under 33s (32.5),they were advertised as 33x12.50 on a 10” wide rim so that’s probably why mine measured 11-11.5 on the 15x8. such a perfect fit i can just get my knuckle between the tire and strut thanks to the 3.75” backspacing. i also barely noticed them as terms of acceleration the3.5 handles them fine. i’ve been reading that “need to regear” thread and while i haven’t been in 4low yet, it’s definitely not necessary for road driving. still gets right up to speed no problem. i also balanced them with balancing beads and they also seem to work well so far! up next is putting on the manual hubs, change out the cvs and repair the old ones, finish painting my black striping along the bottom edge of everything, and maybe four round led lights where the grill goes? yes i think so. lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk OH AND I FORGOT TO ADD PRICES these tires right now are the cheapest i could find in this size other than the nankung (spelling?) muds from walmart that have absolutely no sipping at all (i deal with snow and these actually have great snow reviews those mankind’s do NOT lol). tires were 146 a piece from amazon (walmart has them for same price everywhere else wanted about 160-180 for them). Rims were 46 a piece from bbwheels.com.
  17. actual tire measurements are 32.5x11.5 on 15 with 3.75” backspacing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. TIRES AND RIMS ARE ON Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. how about the 33s? (that actually measure 32.5x11.5 after inflation on 15” rim) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. i wonder if that’s the same for 03s [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. these are the tires i should be buying within the next two weeks hopefully. they are 3 mountain snowflake approved and the next cheapest aggressive tire i could find since the fallen at3ws prices have skyrocketed recently Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. i did it .. i ordered the wheels from 4wheelparts.com 39.99 a wheel for 15s with 3.75 backspacing and comes with lugs and caps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. about time i got to go fishing with friends Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. yeah the one time i’m not wearing my impact gloves this happens smh i was even wearing my face shield...you’d think i’d have remembered the glove too lol. i’m glad too only have ended up with three stitches though so wasn’t too bad. it’s good to know those bolts might break on me so i’ll definetly be doing this one when another car is home lol.
